Moonshine! That's the word for that hot liquor they say burns so bad and will knock you out! I would find some of that and be guzzling it like milk! I seriously would have to leave home until every single access under the foundation or anything was cemented up, the attic sealed off completely with lord knows what and then still I would be mainlining hard liquor & pills until some psychiatrist could fix me somehow. Man oh man. To see something like that on your porch has got to ruin your year! It is so good you have a man living there and you can just stick to him like glue 24/7 in case you hear or see anything. He would have to wear me like a sweater after seeing the ex-jumpsuit of whatever used to be in that!!!!!!!! And please, man, do not call whatever came from that charming length of horror a HOUSE snake and expect me to stay married to you!!!!!! If you are going to house me where something like that hangs out, I'm history!!!! I could just go live in the nearest mental home where they kindly shock your brain once a day from ever knowing things like that frequent unsuspecting human living premises. Between the shockings and the moonshine and pills, I might could deal - otherwise, moving to Ireland and living with as many men at once I can manage. Men can keep me safe from things like that and they can kill them!!! Men and maybe a yard full of mongeese or mongooses or whatever you a whole big group of them! I sure hope you can sleep somehow tonight. I believe if I were you I would just superglue myself to DH and drink until dawn!

Jeanie, I have got to stop reading your comments while Sam is sleeping next to me lol... He cracked an eye to see what I was laughing at and went right back to sleep! But don't move to Ireland, I think they have even more snakes lol. I'm not sure about that of course but seem to recall them having quite a few. Hmmm maybe someone else can help tell us if that's true or not.

I guess it could be worse, better it be an unseen snake outside, then be like the lady who went to use the bathroom and........ Yep you guessed it snake in the toilet! I am having a hard time stopping laughing. You guys are priceless. Be glad the skin was found outside the house rather than inside. That would be worse.

The snake is probably long gone by now. He just needed a sharp edge to catch his old skin on and slowly wiggle out of. Where ever he is now... he has nice shiny new skin.

I truly hope the snake has left and will not be seen again. I don't like snakes but I am not terrified of them... as long as I see them first. I have a healthy respect for them. And don't want them by my house. I hope your hubby can chase it away.
