♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | Brown sugar gets hard right? Now what? Throw in a slice of bread! For some reason the bread softens the brown sugar.

| Now if I just knew how to keep a coffee filter from falling in on one side, letting the coffee grounds go all over the basket and into the pot.

| Really old oranges that have been kept in the crisper but are still ancient, can be skinned, careful to remove the pith also, sliced and eaten and are the juiciest things ever! Usually the pith is very dry and yucky and no one wants to peel the orange and eat it or use it in a dish due to that but if you cut the zest and pith off, the center of the orange is still usually very juicy and not rotten, though months old.

| I have this problem with my coffee maker and I use 1.5 scoops of coffee and then twist the coffee filter at the top so that the grounds can't escape. It works great and I no longer get coffee grinds in my morning coffee!

| Have a scouring pad with lots of soap left. Don`t let it rust. Put it in a dish in the freezer. I never have one rust. |

| If you bake cookies and put them in a container to eat over the week or so, put a slice of white bread on top.... this keeps the cookies from getting hard/stale. I use a freezer bag to pipe frosting onto something when I want to because I don't have a pastry bag. I just snip the corner and screw the tip into it. Works great!

| And it stays twisted during the brewing? I don't know if mine or tall enough to twist and stay with the grounds inside but am definitely going to try this out! Anything that would keep that from happening about once a month or so. It's so messy.

| I tried it and it worked, staying twisted throughout brewing. Just worried it didn't distribute the water evenly over the grounds like it does when they are all spread out but maybe if I can find taller filters, that will be less of a problem. But if I can't taste any difference in the next few days of doing this, who cares if the grounds are spread out!
