I think you have to be very careful about giving someone a valentine’s gift whose heart belongs to another. A little something that shows you know her heart is more meaningful than an expensive gift which would only influence a gold digger.

I realize she is special in your eyes....but at this time she is also Someone Special to someone else !! You may be treading on a thin line.... when it comes to the other man.

Women love the finer things in life and will most likely never refuse an expensive gift. But seeing as how she is taken she would be more appreciative of a special gift coming from the special guy in her life. And as much as you want that special guy to be you, its' not. I would suggest getting a slightly more lavish gift for your every thing women (letting her know you care) and a nice gift as a gestor in honor of V day for the other friend.

Save your money for when it really counts !! When you are her one and only. . . she will appriciate it so much more.

She actually won't be spending the whola day with him and that ws talked about I am getting a quite a few hours with her lol... I don't think she will have to explain he knows me hahaha

Sorry to disagree with you on this post but in my opinion the most valuable gift you can give any woman is...

Respect and friendship

Anything material is only a symbol of something else.

Giving an expensive gift can be taken in different ways by her or anyone else.

You are certainly NOT in a position to offer her the gift of Love.

Both to which I have given her already and I certainlty have given her the gift of love as well.. she is my friend above all else and even if we aren't lovers.. Love is still in friendship.

There is a saying that men can not do two things at the same time.....

A man in love can not be rational at the same time.

I am sure you would know that when I used the word "love" it was meant as the romantic type, but love is blind so there is no point in me harping on about it.

I am unable to understand why it is so important to purchase an expensive gift.
When my wife and I were walking down a street in town I asked her to stop and wait for me whilst I went into a florist and purchased a single rose.
On returning I presented it to her and told her that I loved her dearly.

She has never forgotten the first time I did it and will relate her story at every opportunity she gets. This was eleven years ago when we were both 59 and courting.
We are both 70 years old now and I still do it and she still loves the gesture more than any gift I have ever purchased for her.

Women are like that you know.

I thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. It's not really important the fact that is expensive but it's something she always tells me she loves and I just want to make her day. I'm young and dumb lol so you are probably right but I just feel a strong gut feeling and I think I should trust it.
