This week-end I address my cards and sign them and then I have to wait to get a good picture of the Girl's. That will take forever. LOL Then after Thanksgiving I will put up my Decorations.

| Oh, at Target today I got an "Elf On The Shelf" doll. It is very cute. I then bought a Blu-Ray "A Christmas Carol" from 2009 - the animated ex-3-D one, and at Kirkland's found this wonderful Lava-like Christmas Lamp. They had one turned on and it caught my eye. It is about 14" tall, shaped like a large candle, the "candle"-portion of which is made of clear glass or plastic and filled with that Lava-Lamp clear oil and zillions of gorgeous huge red Glitter pieces. The top of the "candle" has a 3" orange and red plastic flame coming up from the top and the flat top of the "candle" has white plastic shaped like wax running over the top of the "candle" and looks like it is dripping down the side of the "candle" a bit. It sets on a silver base where the light is and it is just beautiful when turned on and warmed up. When it is nice and warm, that lovely red glitter just rolls and roils and tumbles in slow motion and looks just beautiful in the room. I didn't intend to buy something this kitsch-y but it was kind of pretty and I was just dying to buy something Christmas that lit up and moved or something. I found Tibbe some squeaky blue-and-white snowy/winter-themed toys that squeak really really easily and loudly. One is a snowman, one a snowflake and the 3rd is a tree or an ice skate - just recalled - it is an ice skate shape. He will love them in his stocking. Anything squeaky goes over big with Tibbe.

| Our Elf on a Shelf will be making his annual debut soon too. He's been very helpful the last several years popping up in a different place each morning reminding our daughter that's he's watching and reporting to Santa each night! |

| I'm really beginning to get in the spirit for Christmas and it is fairly warm here! But rain is supposedly coming tonight last I heard and then we are to cool down. Rainy cool weather will help my Christmas spirit even more. Oh, that little "Elf On The Shelf" is so adorable - I have to smile when I see his smiling little face. Tibbe is really interested in him as he is sitting in a small child's chair and low enough for Tibbe to walk right up to.

| OK, guilty pleasure: I've been listening to Justin Bieber's Christmas album ALL weekend and this week, LOL. Today we went to Target and got a ton of Christmas cookie dough, and a bunch of stocking stuffers. Oh and I got Jackson a shirt and a Santa suit from the $1 bin, hehe!

| The elf was in the Target book section where they have an end-of-the-aisle display of a box-presentation of "The Elf On The Shelf" with a book and elf in a large box together. That elf is the older probably 40's or 50's vinyl elf head - probably originally from Japan - that has been around for so long. But down at the bottom of that display is a row of plush elves about 14 - 15" long - boys and girl elves. There are little white skirts that sell separately to go on the girl elf. I think the little dolls sell for $12.95 and the skirt for $6.95, while the boxed set is $29.95 with the old elf doll we have all seen around for years.

| The Elf On The Shelf Found a pic online since haven't tried to load my camera program yet. Isn't he cute? Mine is sitting in the little natural-wood child's chair I recently got, right next to Little Miss Shirley Temple in her red and white outfit. They have a used one on Ebay for $29.00! Target's new one is way cheaper. Amazon has them, too.
