Currently it is 84 outside. Inside, a comfortable 65-72. Kaji was wearing jammies this morning because he was cold. (he was just cut short for the summer) |

I live in East Texas...It has been over 100 for 37 straight days...........as much as 111....And I may be starting a job in a warehouse with no air. Please pray I can handle it......... |
It reached 113 here today. My AC is working overtime. When is this going to end. Is this Global warming or what!!! |
We hit 115 degrees! :(:( It is so hot. Two more fires have happened near us. The fire hits the dry grass and trees and just takes off. |

96 today in Harlan Kentucky . |
111 here but it feels like 112 because of the humidity! It's soo hot here that our dogs are afraid to lick themselves! It's soo hot here that the retirement home across the street is having a wet t-shirt contest. It's soo hot here that the farmers are feeding chickens buckets of ice so they wouln't lay hard boiled eggs! It's soo hot here that the trees whistle to the dogs! It's soo hot here that you know for a fact that asphalt has a liquid state! It's soo hot here that you learn seatbelts make a great branding iron! ohh i could go on and on....but i'll spare you! Ann (muhahahaha) |

I just did a new post about how I saw a little squirrel in my back yard stretched out in the just-watered St. Augustine trying to cool himself and he lay there still in that grass so long I thought he had died of heat exhaustion before he moved. I've started the waterhose running out near where he was and put out water tonight front and back for the hot and thirsty little creatures living on their own who must by miserable and possibly dying for water in this heat. Poor little things. |
