I didn't realize TX was 3 hours ahead. I'm so sorry for all of you dealing with this heat.

Someone said it was almost 7, and the time marker said almost 4 in my time. I could be wrong because I'm sleepy. It's late and I'm waiting for my brother to come home. I have a feeling he's not even on his way yet.

It's 2:33 am and still 95 degrees outside.... The sun will be up again in 4-5 hours, it's not going to have time to even cool down before it gets hot again! Oh I long for October and Halloween!

:xmastree::candyc1::santa:I remember December when we had such lovely cold days!!! Walking out into the brisk night air was soooo invigorating. No snow to shovel or anything physical or scarey like a lot of ice - just cold, cold air with a hint of fireplace smoke drifting in the night air and you could see Christmas lights all over - even all night in some cases. And come back inside and curl up under the heated throw with some hot chocolate and marshmallow as you watched a favorite Christmas classic movie, your Yorkie in your lap. Can't wait for that, too!!!

LOL what's this cool air you speak of??? LOL I so miss that weather, just cool enough without any snow or ice.

I would go to the mall but it will likely be too hot there! They don't keep it that cool! I might opt for a movie as I always freeze in the movie theater! Am still conserving and most of everything am not using is unplugged. Even the coffeemaker! Maybe week after next we'll get a break and go back to 98 and 99 degrees!!!

Hard to believe we have resorted to thinking 98 and 99 degrees is a good thing! Lol. Anything below 100 degrees would be a blessing right now. It is just too hot to do anything!

"Storm" sounds so good to me right now. "Cooler" sounds even better. We are supposed to cool now a degree or so this week. A degree or so!!!

Oh, well, except for a few weeks in summer and that Superbowl week, Dallas weather is something I can't really complain about year around. Living in fall, spring and wintertime and a good portion of the summer is very easy here. We've been complaining bitterly lately but overall, the weather here is very easy to take.

I know it's because we don't have to fight it much and it is transitory in Dallas, but I do so envy ya'll some of your snowfalls. Looks wonderful from here. Most of my dealings with snow has been at ski resorts and it's lots of fun and very pretty there. I guess it would get old in a hurry if I ever had to shovel it or clean my car off every day to go out. But it sure seems exciting and pretty for afar. And it sounds great right about now!!! S N O W!!!
