How hot is it where you live? 1 Attachment(s) I know it's hot all over the United States right now but I don't think anybody can beat Oklahoma! It's been like this since the beginning of June, no lie!! I LOVE summer but even I'm getting sick of this. We don't do anything outside anymore, except swim. :p |
:notworthy You've got us beat!! We were around the 100 mark but it recently rained and we are down a bit now. I just paid last month's electric bill and fell over from how much the central air has been running $$$! |
 You must be melting! OMG and I thought it being in the 80's and 90's every day here was depressing! Our a/c has been non-stop since June . . can't wait to pay this month's electric bill! We only had a couple days were it was over 100 a couple weeks ago . . .god I feel for you! |
1 Attachment(s) Our problem is that it doesn't cool down enough at night, they say it's because we've laid too much concrete and blacktop and towns "hold" the heat. |
Supposedly they are expecting us to break the "hottest ever" record today and people are excited about it lol... which means it will get above 115 degrees. |
I saw it on the news this morning! Crazzzyyy!!! We are in PERFECT weather conditions here in NH. Low 80s, no humidity, sunny! I'm so sorry for the rest of the country... especially Texas who has had NO rain and a really hot summer. My mother lives in New Mexico and she said the same thing, no rain for months and really really hot! |
You guys are getting a summer...we are still stuck in the spring/border fall weather. It has been in the 60s-70s here. We will be lucky if it hits 80. That is saying something for California weather. Usually we are in the 90s during summer time. I have to admit, I am a little disappointed because I miss going to the water park. |
1 Attachment(s) It is killer hot here. Right now it is 112 degrees with a prediction of 114 by this afternoon. :(:( I haven\'t seen rain in over a month! According to the weather, its not getting better soon. :( Attachment 350304 |

Yes humidity is usually a huge problem. However, this summer doesn't seem as humid as in the past. Or maybe I am just delirious from the heat. We just stay home. It is way too hot to do anything. :( |
Right now it's 96 feels like 99. It's miserable I walk Teddy from 8:30-9:30AM and I can't take him out again until 8PM |
I heard yesterday that the driest desert in the world (in Chile) just got rain and 3 feet of snow. No wonder Oklahoma hasn't seen rain since.......sorry, I can't count that high. Chile: Snow, Rain Hit World's Driest Desert - ABC News |
Its in the 90's here in Florida, low's at night high 70's....but we have been getting alot of rain and its been over casted all week...with the humidity tho it feels like a 100...Now the last 2 weeks, we were peeking 110 and with the humidity, felt like 120 out, couldn't hardly breath...only place to be was inside or in the pool...My electric bill was 394.00 , A/C running non stop...So I'm happy to see the cooler temps...even if it is just for a few days LOL...Our normal for July & August is in the 100's and with the high humidity we have...its HOT!! |
The temp here near Dallas is 104 and humidity 24% so at least it is not really hot and humid. I hear there may be rolling blackouts!!! Oh, well, computer has a battery and have radio and audiobook player which are battery operated, lots of ice and a shower so maybe can last an hour w/o A-C but longer than that, I'm grabbing up Tibbe and going to some place cool. This summer is one to beat the books!!! |
It is in the ninetys here and very humid |

It's 106 right now and expected to be 110, like it was yesterday. This 32 day's straight of 100 +++ temps has wore me down. It's like I can't get comfortable. I will only allow the dog's outside for 10 minutes at time, so of course I always go out with them. I'm so hot by the time I come back in it takes me about an hour to recover. LOL Then they want back out again. They are drinking so much water so they have to pee pee more. LOL I don't even want to see my electric bill that should arrive next week. LOL |
Oncor is getting rich this summer!!! |

It is high 90's and above , with a heat index of up to 109 in some places in Georgia. It is always humid here. Our county has decided to cancel all outdoor practice for schools between 12pm and 6 pm, for all activities. My son plays football and they practice in the mornings from 7:30-!2.00. In other areas of Georgia there were 2 high school football players die from heat exhaustion this week. We don't start back to school until August 15th. |

I never thought it would be cooler in Florida, then the suburbs of Wash. DC...still running in the low 90's, but the ocean breeze is a big help...and we do not need AC at night... |

1 Attachment(s) You all would just hate me. LOL But i'm not complaining at all. :D The weather right now is 81 degrees with some cloud coverage and a cool tropical breeze. My windows are all open right now. ;) |
It has just been miserable here!! Like 16 or 17 days straight with 90 plus degree temps we are real close to hitting a record. We have been having some 100 degree days also and thats just not heard of here. We are constantly under heat advisorys. And we are having very little rain so its hard to keep up with the watering of plants and everything is brown.. I am so looking forward to Fall and I hope its not hot out like this. We put a Koi pond in our backyard and we havent even really been able to enjoy it because of this heat. I just keep the faith that its going to get better |
