To me, bending over a supine child and placing a strip of duct tape over the mouth and or nose area and securing it down to the flesh as the child sleeps or squirms, then doing it again and then doing that same action a third time - each time tearing the tape off the roll and deliberately placing it on the face of that child who is living and breathing at the time - constitutes the most deliberate form of child abuse and intent to do grievous bodily harm that there is in this world! Who had the custody and control of this child? Casey Anthony was the only person that did.

Take that with all of the other inexplicable events of not reporting the missing child, finding her in trashbags thrown in a bog close to the home, and all that we know of the mother's strange lifestyle, the computer searches for chloroform and I think it was premeditated and then some. It is hard to face it, but some people will do anything in order to get what they want.

I think no matter what she's going to be in jail for a long long time. She did cover up a death be it accident or murder. She deserves to do time for it. Why would an accident in the pool have caused a mom to duct tape a mouth and drag her into a wooded area. you would be grieving and at a loss call 911 and get help to try to save her, not hide her away in shame. she did something to that girl and they will get her for it. if not on earth then she'll get it rotting in hell. personally i wouldn't mind the dealth penalty to send her there faster.

I hope she gets it. If she was in Texas she probably would but I think she'll get life. 3 hots & a cot, medical. Yeah, that's a punishment for what she did.

I agree w/you. Cindy lied in court & I hope they prosecute her for perjury. I hope they find something in her work records to prove it. I cried w/George Anthony this week.

I think her lying testimony is simple proof that she's a liar, as is her daughter. I don't have sympathy for her. I might have before she lied but that was enough for me to throw her under the bus.

It's not right to ever lie under oath. I am sure that Cindy knows if she looked up chloroform. She didn't.

I saw a clip of Geraldo this week who said that many children are killed by their parents in the US every single year. I haven't found that on-line when I just did a quick search. But, he also bought into the allegations that Baez made regarding molestation this week. It doesn't matter how you were brought up, it rarely makes you a murderer, especially of your own child.

Aileen Wuornos & a few others are exceptions. They really had such horrible childhoods from such an early age that certain areas of their brains didn't mature. I just read that Charlize Theron, who played Wuornos, saw her father killed in front of her.

Never knew that.

I used to believe what the bounty hunter said...that she was trying to get her to sleep and that it was an accident. But with all of the new evidence, showing that she looked at those deadly searches, I have changed my thoughts some. I have wondered if she Chloroformed her and then put the duct tape around her mouth, nose and it was also wrapped all the way around her head down to keep her jaw shut tight (because she did have duct tape here as well). So I was thinking that she might have put her to sleep with the Chloroform and then added the tape so that she would suffocate and just not wake up. But it's hard for me to believe so I don't know.
