| Fasteddie - Thanks for those links. They just may give me the courage to try ribs for the first time. Thanks for those pictures you guys posted. I think you may have stirred something deeply ancestral. (insert coyote howl here) Alaskayorkie gets Man Points just for living in Alaska and Caveman Points for barbecuing there! A man has got to have big bolas in Alaska or else his gender is confused due to cold 'bundling'! I fear mine would disappear. Last edited by MrYorkiecrazy; 05-09-2008 at 03:50 PM. How about a few additions?.... 76. Learn to sail a boat. (I can) 77. Clean up after your pet. (I can't handle it) 78. Change a baby's diaper. (I don't know how/can't handle it) Seriously, is this the author's attempt at justifying himself as a man? | |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Well, shrinkage is definitely a concern. Thanks for the understanding.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Check it out, boys. I learned how to BBQ on YT. I marinaded these babies overnight, then used a rub before cooking them at 300 degrees. It was cool again, 50 degrees or lower, so it took 2 hours to reach a 180-degree meat temperature. The result was my best effort yet. Tender, nice flavor. My wife thought the rub tasted a little salty. So I shot her. Ha ha. Kidding. Bad joke, I know. I'm gonna look around for a better rub.

| What have I missed? I only read the first couple of pages when there was only 3 guys in the thread and the women were harassing them In any event, here are my hobbies. Most of them will be considered "manly" I hope hehe 1) Computers - Obviously, since I'm a programmer, computers are a big part of my life. Along with that has been computer gaming. I used to do a lot more gaming on the PC until I got my Xbox. However, I still play some games like Command & Conquer 3 (RTS games suck on Xbox), Tomb Raider, and my wife and I play Sims 2. I also have a Lan party with my wife, sister, and her boyfriend and we play Age of Empires 2. I also miss playing road rash. I absolutely LOVED the first Red Alert, and can't wait for 3 to come out! 2) Consoles - My first console ever was a Sega Genesis (my parents were brainwashed and thought the Nintendo would ruin the TV) and then I waited until the Xbox to get back into consoles. I now have an Xbox 360 and a Nintendo Wii. I love Splinter Cell (been waiting for Conviction forever it seems) as well as Halo (have all 3) and Forza 2 with the Xbox racing wheel (one of the awesomest experiences I've ever had with a gaming console with the wheel's force feedback). Oh, and GRAW. On the Wii we've downloaded some classics like Super Mario Bros 1 & 3, Punchout, and Zelda. For actual Wii games we have Paper Mario, Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, and we just bought Super Smash Bros (although I believe that game is way over-hyped.) 3) Hockey - It's the only sport I can watch without falling asleep. I'm a Detroit Red Wings fan, so I'm a happy camper right now with them up 3-0 in their series with Dallas. I like to play hockey video games and love to play street hockey, but all my high school friends I used to play with moved away and I have nobody left to play with However, I do like to play golf and bowl, and I'm taking a beginning tennis class with my wife and we are enjoying that. 4) TV - When my wife graduated and got a job, I rewarded myself for paying her tuition with a plasma HDTV. My wife and I love: 24, Lost, CSI, Smallville, & The 4400 (before it was canceled). One aspect you could call me girly about is that I don't like beer that much. However, I will down a margarita any day of the week. Though this may make me seem girly, trust me, I'm not. I often threaten anyone at the table that I even think will make fun of me when I order one. However, I have no problem with some Jack & Coke or a Long Island, so I go for balance. Oh, and I saw something about hot chicks. The one I would like is Jennifer Love. My wife knows it and said if I had a chance, I could take it. It's my "free pass." She better hope Jennifer Love doesn't start making movies in Louisiana |

| I hear ya. I often think most people don't really like beer but they drink it because that's what everyone else is drinking at parties. With a taste like that, I see it being love it or hate it. |
