| Dyson vacuums? I've seen several members mention Dyson vacuums recently. I'd never heard of them before but now I'm considering getting one. Are they really that much better? I have stained concrete flooring in my house - no carpet.....do you think a Dyson would really vacuum hard floors any better than my Hoover does? Which model do you recommend?

My Hoover does a little of that & I hate it.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | My daughter bought the smaller one & LOVES it: Dyson DC24 All Floors Vacuum - Iron/ Satin Yellow : Target She really loves it because it's compact, lightweight, powerful suction, and manuvers so easily. Great for her stairs. I really want one too. The reviews @Target are great.

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | Right now, you can get it online with "free shipping" & 10% off. I bought mirrored tables that way for my daughter once......cheaper than in store. If you decide, don't forget to come back & give us your review.

| I'm not seeing too many sales/specials on these Dysons, so 10% off would be a pretty good deal. That offer expires Saturday so I need to make my mind up fast!

| And your Dyson doesn't do this? I would love that! Which model do you have?

| Bonny, I have the Animal and it does work great. What I don't like about the Dyson is the wand is in the hose of the vaccum so if you like to use the hose for small areas and crevices while vaccuming, it is a real pain in the butt. Had I known this about the vaccum, I probably would not have bought it as I go back and forth all the time, or least I used to. Now I have to do all the floors or all the hand/hose things first then floors. We have the Dyson on the ball and it really manuevuers well! If you are really set for a Dyson, I like the maneuverability of it. Also, check at Bed Bath and Beyond, I am thinking that you can use their coupon. If you need on, I have plenty--20% off.

| I have the Dyson Animal and absolutely love it! I didn't have a Yorkie then but 2 German Shepherds. The first time I used it, I couldn't believe all that came up out of the carpet! I got it at Bed, Bath and Beyond....they have 20 percent coupons that they will honor forever...no expiration date. |
