Bonny,

I have the Animal and it does work great. What I don't like about the Dyson is the wand is in the hose of the vaccum so if you like to use the hose for small areas and crevices while vaccuming, it is a real pain in the butt. Had I known this about the vaccum, I probably would not have bought it as I go back and forth all the time, or least I used to. Now I have to do all the floors or all the hand/hose things first then floors.

We have the Dyson on the ball and it really manuevuers well! If you are really set for a Dyson, I like the maneuverability of it.

Also, check at Bed Bath and Beyond, I am thinking that you can use their coupon. If you need on, I have plenty--20% off.
