Tough question. After my scare with mine, though, I think I'd have to go with a new one.

I have been seeing them on Craigslist for $25 to $50. For those prices I'd sure be tempted to give one of those a try. If it quits, at least you wouldn't be out much money.

Yup how did you know? :D Actually got hoover on Sunday it worked well, but today I use it again doing the upstairs now.

Wow... in my CL area, there were NONE... then about an hour away or so, the cheapest is around $95... :rolleyes: I emailed someone and asked if they would match the Amazon refurb price lol :cool:

One popped up yesterday that had all attachments for $45. I could kick myself for not looking there first. :p

I looked again.. and if I wanted one for 45 I would have to drive like 2 hrs... bleh

lol thats funny b/c I would think my hubby would say to get the ones with tools (hands down) but he didn't... lol he said he would clean those hard to reach places lol oh goodness.... just to save a few bucks hahahah So it looks like we will be ordering the refurb haha (of course I will check CL one last time before submitting my order! lol)

You will love it Robin! I was almost happy to see "bits" stuck on the bottom of my feet today so I can get my FloorMate out again :sidesplt: :D

I didn't like mine at all have a pego floor in my kitchen and it had a hazy look.Guess i will stay on my hands and knees
