Currently suspended?

The problem is some know how to say just enough that their post is insulting but not actually attacking so they dont get suspended. I think Ann said it best when she said you can choose to respond negatively or positively. I am going to choose positively unless there is really something posted that needs a less than positive response. It seems like there are so many negative responses anymore that it has just taken over the forum. I think we all need to do some soul searching on this and see how we are responding

Yes, some do know how to respond and protect themselves from bullies without being suspended. Often times the loudest complainers are the worst offenders.

I disagree that negativity has taken over this forum. It is what one chooses to look at and how they look at it imo. I see SO many good things being posted on a daily basis.

You cannot ever have such a diverse group of people without having disagreements.

Good IM glad I think wee can all do our part to get this forum back on track. I think Admin and the Mods will appreciate it also. Like I said are sometimes when someone needs a reality check and I dont think posting it is negative posting, someone else might and post so but I think they need to do some soul searching also and see if they are adding to the bickering

Well based on the number of people leaving the forum and the number of people complaing I think there is a problem but Im not going to argue with you because the real message behind my post was for everyone to do some soul searching. I know I have and I want to be a force for change for the better

Oh, I agree. I just hope that people who have been accusing others of such behaviors as lying and stealing dogs ...oh and actually killing dogs will also agree. I am no longer going to just keep a stiff upper lip when people accuse me of stealing dogs by bullying their owners. I took it long enough and finally said something this past week.
No, I don't get suspended for speaking my mind....and I understand some would like that. I am sorry they don't want me to speak up. It's ok for them to do so..but not for others? I honestly do not get that.
I also do not agree that it is ruining anything.
Again, there will always be disagreements. Some people are really working overtime in trying to malign other people. They don't just disagree, they totally malign and attack. But, somehow, that is ok? Or, perhaps because often that stuff is deleted, others are not aware? I honestly do not know.

I am not arguing with you. Why is it that you would think that? I am simply saying what I think.

Just because some people say they will soul search, does not mean others will not. I have just as much of a vested interest in YT as anyone else.

Agreed - I've seen too many suspended lately and while never really know the reason - it does help to read that it doesn't have to happen to YOU if you conduct yourselves in a manner that will not be cause you to get sent to the 'bad girls/boys' chair

oh and watch the pm's - they can get you the boot even if you think they're private - certain things WILL get you suspended if you say the wrong things. It's Admins way of protecting people so I guess I understand it.

I've never been suspended but have seen very popular members go thru it - the hope is they learn and come back - especially those who contribute alot to the site

That's the thing about Freedom of Speech..It's for everyone, including the people you really wish would just shut the bleep up. Be joyous that you live in country that we can all piss each other off! I was born in Russia, my mother remembers the Berlin Wall..Giving me the opportunity to argue with nitwits was the greatest joy she ever give me.

They are put there by members to be used as words for searching. I noted yesterday that some members are putting little nasty inuendos in them in different forums. Very sad they use them for such purposes.

I am hoping the admin will take a look at this. Perhaps if people are going to be nasty and label people as they are, then this privelege should be removed. OR, maybe he should find a way to figure out who is doing it so that he could have a little talk with them.

People are using them not for search tools, but to malign breeders and other people they do not like.

I didnt say people that just read will not do some sould searching Im sure they will. I just think especially contributing member should be trying to set an example. I know in one post I read where someone was complaining the person said the people doing the most bullying and negative posting were veteran members. Most of the veterans members are also contributing members so thats why I think an example needs to be set. How we are being percieved by others whether it is reality or fiction

I saw you say that yesterday...somebody was tagging your name. How do you do that? Or is that privlleged(sp?)?
