They are private. But you can still 'report' a PM or forward it to Admin if you receive one that crosses the line. Then, admin/mods will review it and take action as they deem necessary. And all the rest of us will be none the wiser.

Why should their be a "behind the scenes" of a dog forum thats mean't to share our love for yorkies I have no idea.

Kind of sad the drama has to go everywhere, including a dog forum.

PMs are private. However if someone is harassing you, being rude, or just full-out plain rude and insulting you can report that PM to admin or a Mod so they are aware of the situation.

There will always be drama in life, you are young, just wait, its coming.

The basic rules of YT apply on the entire board. If someone forwards a PM to us where they are being attacked or harassed or threatened by another member -- we will address the issue, no question.

I do have PMs forwarded to me occasionally, bc someone feels a member is going too far. It even states in our Rules how to handle harassing PMs - just forward them to Admin or a Mod and we will see if action should be taken right away.

Ha! No kidding. There is nothing worse than the HS drama down here
It came and went and its coming again. I know drama comes and goes but it seems like the recent YT drama is a bit extreme for a dog forum about yorkies. Everyone is attacking each other personally. Kind of sad. . .

But I guess life goes on.

It happened to me once. I had a stalker and I decided to PM her and tell her to seek help.
ZAP I was reported by her and suspended.
Learned that lesson quickly!

I've found that you can get caught up in the drama as much or as little as you want to. Everyone isn't attacking everyone; there are some really great supportive threads and people. I agree with Ann's quote:

The mods and admin do their best. I'm sure they don't enjoy suspending people. I just hope people realize that just because you didn't see something happen, that doesn't mean it didn't happen. And there is more than one side to every story. It is "impossible" to make every person completely happy on YT.
