| I'm a bodily injury claims adjuster for a large company - currently working out of my house. I have a 14 year old son. My company is centralizing so I will soon either be moving or looking for other employment! |

| I am a draftsperson for a geotechnical engineering consulting firm. I got a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology a few years ago and I've been at the same company ever since. I'm possibly looking for somewhere new to work since I am now the head of the drafting department... also known as the ONLY drafter! So things can get pretty stressful when there's 20+ engineers handing me work with tight deadlines I have spent whole nights at work, not leaving my desk from 8am until 6am the next morning! So it gets quite stressful at times, but it pays the bills! I do find the work very interesting though. I basically get a design from an engineer and draw it in 3d on my computer to show them and our clients what this is going to look like in real life after construction (roads, landfills, lagoons, berms, etc!), or get land surveys to show what is already there (for drainage studies or environmental impacts)

| YT Addict | I work at the YMCA both in the licensed daycare and the children's drop-off (babysitting) at the gym. I've done before and after school programs, and camps through the Y as well. Right now I supply Teach (very steady work) in the lower Kindergarten (the year before school starts) for the most part. I also enjoy working in preschool when they need me. I have a Diploma in Child and Youth Work, and am in the process of getting my Early Childhood Education Diploma so I can get a full time position. I've got a 5km run coming up to raise money to send less-fortunate kids to camp, if you'd like to donate ($1 or whatever) Pm me.

| I've been working at Subway for 5 years. It's not much but it allows for me to work & attend college. I am also an (unemployed) certified nurse's aid but haven't taken the state test yet to become a CENA because I have still have yet to decide if it's for me or not. I'm a very small person.

| I am a portrait photographer and have been living that dream for the last 6 years. But it also allows me to be a SAHM, and homeschool my oldest child (9 yrs) who has ADHD.

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | It's cool to see what everyone does! I've been "interim" copy desk chief at a newspaper for the past three years. It was a job that I didn't want because of the stress, but I told them I'd do it until they could find someone else. A subsequent hiring freeze locked me into the position. Turned out to be a good thing. They need me, and I've survived two rounds of layoffs as my staff has diminished from 30 to 10.
