It's cool to see what everyone does!

I've been "interim" copy desk chief at a newspaper for the past three years. It was a job that I didn't want because of the stress, but I told them I'd do it until they could find someone else. A subsequent hiring freeze locked me into the position. Turned out to be a good thing. They need me, and I've survived two rounds of layoffs as my staff has diminished from 30 to 10.
