| Anyone have a Blackberry Storm? The first one I got didn't work so had to take it back. They said the company was having lots of problems with the storm and they think they have it working correctly, so I got another one and it just didn't do a few things right and now it doesn't work at all. I took the battery out, then put it back in waited about an hour and still nothing. I plugged it in (even though it had a full charge when I turned it off last night) and nothing. I ask my husband to call me and it went directly to voice mail but didn't ring at all. We are going this evening to get a different one. Any recommendations?

| Is the Storm the touch one? If so, I played around with a few of them and HATED them. I knew who few people who had them and couldn't stand them and returned them. Only knew of like 1 out of 10 people that liked it. I played around with it a lot in the store as I had a BB Curve that I loved, but wanted to upgrade. I found the touch just didn't work right, it was frustrating me right in the store, so I knew it would bother me in the longrun. I have an iPhone now (switched to AT&T for it) and will never go back. I had no complaints about my BB Curve though. They have a new BB that is really nice, it doesn't have a trackball anymore (mine used to get stuck all the time, only complaint!) If it wasn't for my iPhone, I would have a Blackberry -- just not the Storm.

| I have the Blackberry Bold 2 (9700) and it's the best phone I've ever had. I've also heard of people having problems with the BB Storm when it first came out but I thought RIM resolved those issues. I would return the Storm and try the BB 9700. They finally got rid of that awful trackball and the battery life is amazing. I think you'll be happy. BTW, I'm on T-Mobile. Last edited by princesmom; 03-30-2010 at 06:50 PM. |

| Hi there. Sorry to hear about your frustrating experience. I had the curve three years ago and loved it. Got the storm 2 Verizon and it took about two weeks to master the touch screen but now I love love love it. It occasionally freezes but so did my curve and so far removing the battery worked. I would not be able to go back to the curve BC the camera is amazing and just love how easy and fun the touch screen is. I wish u the best of luck with ur search!

| I have the curve2 now, coming from an original curve and loved them both. www.crackberry.com is your friend for all blackberry users. Its a forum about blackberry's. Anytime I have a question or problem I go straight there and do a search, normally I find the answer to my question or if not I just post a question and they answer pretty quick. Hope this helps!

| I have had my Blackberry Storm since last April and love it. My Storm was a gift from RIM - as a thank you for some suggestions that I made about the commerical my husband was featured in. I have Verizon service and and never ever had any problems with the Storm. Well - the only problem that I have is ME - I am not very SmartPhone savvy so all I do is check my email and use the phone. |

| I had the first curve and now have the curve2. I love them both. One of my friend's hated the storm, but I think they have done some improvements. There is a website just for blackberries....its a forum just like this one. crackberry is the name. I'm a member there and they are great about answering questions.

| Well I can't get another phone unless I pay full price. (Oh, the battery was dead, so they gave us a new one, no charge). The one I wanted is $59.00, just a simple LG flip phone, but would have to pay $188.00 for it because my contract doesn't end for another 11 months. They gave us the VZAacess Manager so we can upgrade the storm. This phone is a nightmare. My husband said he can't wait to hammer it! This time when my contract is up, I'm just going to pay month to month, like I did for years when I had AT&T. Thank you all for your great suggestions, and I will definitely look into the BB 9700 and the curve. At least I have someplace to start now.
