| Tillamook Sharp Cheese...can't find rant They're out of it....can you believe that? I've looked for it at 3 or 4 stores and none of them had it which seemed very strange to me. Just for the heck of it I googled their sharp cheese and the company is out of it until July. This is my favorite cheese for cooking and July sounds so far away. Just had to whine....

| how can a cheese company be out of cheese What happened to all the sharp cheddar cows Did the website say what the problem is? Maybe if they made the medium cheddar cows mad...they might get sharp. Just a thought. What about another brand? How about Costco?

"Because you love Tillamook Sharp Cheddar SO much, we are temporarily sold out. Don’t worry, we are naturally aging your cheese to perfection and it will be back on store shelves, available online and at the Tillamook Cheese Factory by July 1." Usually I buy it at Costco, but they're out too. That's when I started searching the grocery stores and couldn't find it there either. Now I know why. But come on....they're not exactly a small operation. I did try Costco's brand and there is no comparison.

| I work in the cheese shop in our local grogery store. Yes, I cut cheese for a living. I found through the years that there will be times when you can't get a certain cheese for months. Sometimes the imported cheese is held up in customs for a long time. A couple years ago the store sent all the cheese people to a cheese workshop. We spent the entire day learning about all the different cheeses, what makes them different tasting them. They kept telling us , Happy Cows make Happy Cheese. When we can't get a cetain cheese we joke around and say there must not be any Happy Cows there.

Oh my, you have to try this!!!! Take a sharp, semi or hard cheese and grate finely. Cook spaghetti, drain well, in the same pan melt butter to cover spaghetti a little salt and lots of granulated garlic. Toss well and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Serve with a tossed salad and french bread. Voila, a tasty dinner in 20 minutes. Ymmmmm!!!!!!

| I am always baffled when someone says they don't like cheese. I love cheese, all kinds sooooo much, except Brie. My DH loves Brie and it tasts like burnt plastic to me.

| Making medium cheddar cows mad, that is hilarious. Good thing I wasn't drinking anything or it would be all over the screen.

| I've never heard of this cheese. I guess I'll have to wait till July now!!! My favorite for cooking is Sharp Pinconning by Lipari. There is simply no other cheese that tastes as good as this when I make my grandma's mac & cheese recipe!!! The only place that sells it by me is my fruit market.
