Thor's Human Donating Member | Let me start off by saying that the YT vendors I have dealt with (chattiesmom and darlinbeaux) have been both gracious and 101% professional. That being said, it disappoints me when I see a seller responding to criticism in a defensive, angry way. While it is not exactly the same thing, I am a professional services consultant, and complaints are part of the territory. I have sometimes done superlative work for clients, only to discover that they made what I considered to be ridiculously unfair complaints to my boss. When that happens, the only alternative I have is to apologize and be that much nicer next time. Yes, I have sometimes seethed at the injustice of it all, but I would never dream of mounting a counter-attack. In my opinion, the best way to diffuse a public complaint is to be completely polite, open and honest. Then people can see from your demeanor that you're someone worth dealing with. Most people know that anyone can post a complaint, so I don't buy into the idea that one negative review is going to destroy someone's reputation. In fact, after seeing everyone post such glowing reviews in response to the complaint about gofetch, I decided to visit her site for the first time. Her stuff is cute, cute cute! I want to add that I made a complaint about a non-YT seller a few months ago. I was completely honest about what happened, but she found the review, came on, posted private customer information, and flat out lied about what happened, all in the name of defending her reputation. AND, afterwards, several people PM'd me to say that either they or friends had had similar experiences to mine. So I kind of itch at the idea that people shouldn't be allowed to share their opinions because it might hurt the seller.

| I just want to say that I was in disbelief when I read the negative post that was recently directed towards Des at GoFetch. I have ordered from Des on many occasions and I can't say enough about the excellent quality of all of her gorgeous clothing items. Des is such a sweetheart and in my experience has provided exceptional customer service to me on each and every occasion that I have ordered from her. In fact, I live in Canada and before I even can blink an eye my order is waiting for me at the mailbox. I'm amazed at how efficient she is. On several occasions I have had custom requests for my three girls and Des was only to happy to accommodate me with no questions asked. All I can say is that Des is a real sweetheart and it honestly hurts me beyond belief that she would have to defend herself in response to this member's unfounded accusations. In closing, I truly feel very badly for Des that she was critisized in this manner by one particular member. I agree with one other member who stated that it would truly be unfair that this judgement would influence in any way other "newbies" in a negative way when it comes to ordering from Des at Go.Fetch. Please take if from me, and listen to the majority of members on this thead before casting judgement based on the opinion of one isolated member. |

| I dealt with a few vendors here . They have been very professional . I don't understand why peoples don't contact a vendor and try to clear things with this person before posting on here . |

Unfortunately when you sell on the internet you never know who your customer is going to be. I had a guy email me once totally upset when he found out what a bully stick was. I listed them as "beef tendons" since that is what is on the ingredient label along with a silly G-rated description, however I think it's possible English was not his first language and he just didn't get it. I explained that I didn't want to list the actual word because I didn't want to attract the wrong type of traffic to my site But I never heard from him again. I'm sorry it happened and sorry he was offended, but how could I anticipate that someone would not get the reference (or gosh, at least google "what is a bully stick") and especially when most other sites list the same type of description or a lot LESS info. Oh the joys of selling online! I also agree that we don't want people to feel like they can't post a review. I don't think it will hurt GoFetch It was pretty obvious in this case, without even reading the replies, that the OP messed something up somewhere, so no one who reads it is going to say "OMG I'll never buy from GoFetch!" Seriously, I think it will be OK
