I absolutly love Adam! He can rock it out! My daughter thinks he looks like Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. I also like Danny Gokey and Alexis. I think it will come down to Adam and Danny. It seems like they are going for the more marketable this year.

A truely cannot stand Paula anymore. Tuesday I just looked at my husband and asked "is she drunk?" She just didn't make any sense and kept saying the young guys sang sexy. Seems she needs to be noticed all the time by standing up as they sang. Annoys the heck out of me. I hope she is gone next year.

Its frustrating when it doesn't come on the same time...DVR has saved me a couple of times....and what really stinks here is that college basketball airs on our local FOX station sometimes when UK plays, which not only throws me out of whack as to when it comes on...but throws the DVR out of whack too.

I was hoping that Jorge and Anoop would go home this week...and if not them then I thought Megan should have gone. I thought Jasmine did very well on her song....and I thought the judges gave her more grief than she deserved on their remarks they made the night she sang.

Far as the new "veto" the vote thing.....I have mixed emotions about it. I mean they all have to go sometime....of course yeah I'd like to see some stay longer than others. I wish they'd limit the phone calls to one call per phone line...I think that would stop alot of the silly non-sense votes they do get and why you see alot of people go home way sooner than they should. I just hope thati if and when they do use the veto...its on someone who really deserves it.

I was really disappointed in Kelly's performance the other night....didn't like that song at all.

My brothers best friend looks ALOT like Adam. Me and my mom both said oh my gosh its like looking at Dustin (brothers best friend) sometimes. He has his eyes and his mouth.

I think Paula is a nut....but I dont feel like the show would be the sh ow without her. She's been there since the first season...along with Simon and Randy who I also enjoy.....and I can't imagine the show without any of the three. Kara...yeah I feel the same...she's ok...but I could do with or without her.

I remember "Opposites Attract" from back in the day. I loved Paula then. LOL. Now, I don't think AI will be the same without her. However, last season, I was nearly hoping she'd go away because she was getting ridiculously overboard emotional and snappy at Simon seemingly just for the sake of being snappy. Also, she was saying "Yes" more often then she should have. This season, she seems to be more honest and in touch with reality. Maybe it's because of Kara's influence, but it seems that since Kara is willing to say "No" when a contestant really isn't any good, Paula feels it's okay to be more honest too instead of just being "nice" all the time. I definitely think she hasn't been spiking her cola cup this season. LOL

To be fair, I think Kara managed to fit right in and seems totally at home. I agree with her calls more than I do Randy's or Paula's overall.

As for Simon, I too think he's a little nicer this season while still being honest and offering more constructive criticism. Previously, he did as well, just that he goes overboard mean in doing it sometimes, while most of the time, I still agree with him. However, I think even he was being a little gentler on Scott. I had been looking forward to seeing Scott perform in front of the piano again, however, Tuesday night was very disappointing to say the least. Simon was kinder than I would have been were I to treat Scott no differently from any other person competing. It's hard to say if people are nicer because he has to work harder, but in the end, it shouldn't be about sympathy votes. Scott has held his own through the weeks, but maybe he just needs a little more time to work on the pieces or just to keep to performing ones he's more familiar with. At least he should be in the AI concert tour.

LOL, that had me cracking up. :D I was thinking the same exact thing...Alison needs to stop making all these strange faces on the camera.

I have always noticed that Simon gets the biggest reception from the audience when the judges are announced at the beginning of the show. I wish Randy wouldn't "boo" him though. I think it encourages the audience to be even ruder when Simon criticizes a singer.
As far as Simon's behavior goes - think about it - This show is his baby and he has invested a LOT of time coming up with the final contestants. When someone doesn't perform up to the standards he has set (now this is out of thousands of people they could have chosen) it makes him angry. I don't blame him for being disgusted sometimes. Ad don't they have coaches working with them all week long. Do they not listen to the coaches when they choose their songs?

I agree that he is usually right on the money. I do think those that sing country music have a bit harder time with Simon because he is not a country music fan. Just as I am not a rock fan so it is harder for me to give a fair evaluation of someone if I can't stand the music or the song.

I love Simon! My DH just shakes his head because me and Simon pretty much think alike...be it good or bad...lol...If Paula really does go off the show next year I probably wont watch anymore...I like her and Simon together..with her all wacked out or not...lol

My favorite is Danny. I also voted for Michael and Alexis...

I think Megan's arm with her tattoo is kinda sad...of course I'm old ....

As far as Megan's arm, I would die if my daughter had that arm and really more than one tiny one somewhere on their body (they never wanted them, none of my kids) With Megan I just think it is a great equalizer for the music business she is longing to belong to some day. I bet if she doesn't get the votes the judges will keep her. I'm not into it this year but I'm glad so many are enjoying it. Let me know if Kris wins:D

I have never been a fan of tattoos on men or women. I think Megan's is distracting. They may be trying to avoid it, I saw a wedding show where the bride was madeover. She had a tattoo sleeve and the person in charge had it body painted over till after the wedding, then she washed it off. She looked very beautiful, classy and refined in her stapless gown without it. They were right to cover it till after the ceremony.
