I was really impressed with nearly all the contestants tonight. Some could have made better song choices but I really thought all the vocals were pretty good. Of course my two favorite guys were Danny and Adam. I am not a rock fan but I must say that Adam is really good. I can see him being a big star some day. All the girls are so good, it is hard to choose. It will be interesting to see who goes home.

Ok.....I think Danny may have to move over as my favorite and make room for ADAM!!!!! Oh my gosh hie was awesome tonight and I really liked Alexis Grace as well. I thought everyone did well tonight...there really wasn't one that I could say yeah for sure they are going home....so none of them did horribly in my opinion....but if I had to pick two...my two pics for the night would be Anoop and Jorge. I was not real enthused with Megan and i was also disappointed with Michael's performance and he was one I've been rooting for to go far. I thought Danny did well tonight...but I hated that song selection he made. I was really blown away with Adam's performance though.....he definitely has a voice and awesome stage presence.

There were so many good ones tonight. I voted for six LOL. I thought Adam was good but I hate heavy metal type screaming so I didn't vote for him. Thought jorge was bad and was not impressed with anoop. I liked Lil, Scott, danny, jasmine, allison, and megan best. I didn't really like megabs song but I love her unique voice. There were others I liked too but I had to limit my voting to six LOL. This is going to be a tough season

I think I voted for 8 of them. Call me old fashion but I loved Megan's song. It just put a smile on my face. She does have a unique voice but she is not as powerful of a singer as some of the other girls.

I was bust working on a work project - watched but didn't have time to vote. I did like Megan & the song - have always liked that song :) -- they were all pretty good - especially for the 1st week out. I thought Michael was one of the weakest. I think the girls will love Anoop & jorge - so I think they'll be back.

I don't understand why the judges put 13 thru, only to send 2 home the first week - what was the point. Did you all hear why the last singer's number ended in 36 instead of 13? Well, if you didn't hear you might have guessed by Ryan's comments to dial carefully - the 13 number is a pay-for-phone-sex line.

So what do you think the surprise twist will be tomorrow with the judging? I was thinking earlier today - I can't believe as much as Simon wants to control things that they don't do the judging more like Dancing With the Stars- where the judge's opinion counts for part of the vote. I can't figure out why they didn't announce it tonight, if they say it may change the outcome :confused:

I try to overlook that, just because I don't like a song or type of music that they sang doesn't mean they didn't do a good job singing it. I try to remember the contest is on talent not my favorite songs/music. I thought Adam and Danny were great and I liked two of the girls too. I thought a couple people were shaky, like Jorge to name one.

I love Adam! I am not a rock fan, but when he gets up on the stage, he just has a great precense. I thought Lil did a great job as well. Sorry but I think Anoop and Jorge have seen there last days on Idol. I couldnt even watch Jorge, I thought it was horrible!

Well RachelGenson, I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one. :D My thought exactly, really liked Jorge, and his tears last week broke me up, but this wasn't a good choice for him. I would have loved to have heard him sing with an accent, and song choice is so important for that. Both Adam and Lil Bottom were so entertaining, and they have that something extra that makes them a star.

Tonight will be interesting... I voted for 4 people - Adam, Danny, Megan, and Alexis. I think everyone did really well. I also have to agree that if anyone should be sent home, it should be Anoop and Jorge.

Why is American idol coming on an hour later tonight? Fox needs to pick a time and stick with it! I made plans to meet some people at 8:15 so I could watch AI first and now I find out it doesn't even start until 8. I am so mad. Why do they keep changing times...that one week where it was pushed back annoyed me too. Most shows come on at the same time on the same day every week

I totally agree! It is so confusing. I never know what time the show will be on.

I think the new rule is weird - especially since they can only use it once during the season- how do they guess when they need it most. I wasn't surprised that they didn't use it this early in the game.

I think though - if they are going to let these contestants sing for their salvation then the contestant ought to have the option of singing a different song - they already lost with the song of the week - so I think they should be able to pull something else out of their repertoire. Granted that might be hard to have the band - but maybe it should be acappella - just like when they originally auditioned. I don't understand why they have to sing a song they didn't do well on.

Sad to see Jasmine go so soon - I think it would be great if she re-auditioned next year - but with that face & a lot of her natural ability she may very well end up with a contract soon

I think the new rule is weird too! I wonder if they came up with it in an effort to control the voting in some way. If they are worried about the wrong people getting voted off they should hold a special voting and let the viewers decide who among them should come back or something.

My picks still stand. I think it will be Allison or Danny. And, I'm sorry, I just don't appreciate Adam's style. I was surprised at the judges responses to him.

What did you think of Kelly C's performance? I wasn't to impressed with it but I do admire her for coming back to perform every year. She hasn't forgotten what AI has done for her. Is there anyone that hasn't come back to perform? I hope to see Fantasia again soon. I just loved her! My other all-time favorite is Clay Aiken!
