| I think it was in Charice thread you created and/or also an earlier post on this one, but I had agreed then that Charice has amazing vocals and I still feel that way now. However, with this song, I prefer Whitney Houston's version. I like the original's quality and tone, and possibly, it's the difference in the transition of emotions I hear coming from the original versus the lack thereof in Charice's rendition--especially noted in the non-chorus verses. It could also be because youtube plays back in mono unless you post up a stereo encoded flv. I don't know which it is. I love the maturity and purity of Whitney's voice for a lot of her songs, rather than the practiced or trained maturity in Charice's. Whitney's songs get sung and over sung like crazy all of the time. They may all be good and even great, but not necessarily better to my ears. :)
