I decided to show my support and downloaded all the songs available from iTunes thus far for Allison, Adam, Lil, and, of course, Jorge. I actually loved the last song Jorge performed. :( I can feel the emotion. And he's such an honestly humble guy, with the lazy left eye and all. Just felt a little cheated with Allison's song that was really just a minute and half short and still charged the same as the others! :2omg: As much as I liked Michael for being such a sweet down-to-earth kind of guy, I actually get more into Jorge's singing when he does it right. I can hear him doing the entire "Don Juan de Marco" soundtrack. :wub: You know, I think Michael resembles a lighter, sweeter version of Dean Cain in build and looks though I'm sure Dean Cain has greater muscle mass while I think under Michael's clothes he's about half and half--no, no, I have not been imagining anyone naked while watching PG TV. :p |
Are there any Survivor fans on this thread? I was very bummed to hear that they are putting Survivor on Wednesday night this week! I'm really glad we have dvr! Why do they keep jerking the audiences around? |

For those out there who are Adam fan, I'm hoping this week he'll sing something a little more mellow...something similar to this - What do you think? We know that he can sing rock music and hit really high notes, but I would really like to hear something soft like the above link from youtube. :) |

Yuck I'm not much of a country fan. I like the more crossover stuff like carrie underwood, rascal flatts and Taylor swift so hopefully it's not a bunch of traditional country |
It'll be an interesting watch. I enjoy most genre of music except for all heavy metal, most rap and some electronica. :) |
it's the judges that I don't get - there are times I think they will not like something (primarly because I liked it) - but then low and behold they like it. Kris was a prime example - I thought Simon would comment on his facials - but Simon loved the song. |
I'm not a fan of Kris'. I feel there are better singers than him who got dropped while he made it. He has that generic cute look, but it's the common type I can see on daytime soap or just in passing on the streets. LOL. There's nothing in his features that stand out. Same applies to his vocals. So I'm not sure what's selling there as he's pretty much "average" in a very, in Simon's favourite word, "forgettable" way. I don't mean to offend any of the Kris fans out there, I'm sure he's a sweet boy, but I'm just not a fan myself. :) |
wow Adam was so aweful tonight. His version of that song was terrible and he was just creepy. He was the worst of the night I thought. Couldn't believe the judges didn't blast him. I know he won't be going home though because too many people like him but tonight he was terrible. Michael wasn't good either. Alexis really dissapointed me. I thought shed rock this week. I liked kris but he was a little boring. I haven't been an anoop fan but he really did well tonight. I voted for 7 tonight lol there were a lot of good ones. Lil is definitely not a country singer but is such a good singer. Scott was just okay tonght but I really like him. I liked megan too and poor girl was so sick. Danny, matt giraud and Allison rocked |
I thought Adam's song was so bizarre the way he sang it. It was good in some ways and horrible in other ways. I guess people will either love him or hate him. I still really like Danny and I was impressed with how well Anoop did. I felt sorry for Megan since she was so sick. I really did not care for her performance but if she had the flu then I can certainly understand. I think she deserves another chance. I just don't know who should go home. It will interesting to see tomorrow night. |
Adam was horrid - also, I thought he wasn't true to the country week. It was so bad - I can't see myself ever voting for him. Anoop did such a good job of turning things around - good for him. I liked the girls, but really the guys have it this year. I really hadn't paid attention to Kris until tonight - he's not a total standout, but he did a nice job tonight. I really like Danny, and continue to be a fan of Matt's. I like Scott, but he doesn't seem to the power or the fire in his belly like the other guys |
