I love his hairstyle reminds me of the 70's Vidal Sassoon look. :D Here's another one, different hairstyle. I think he has great eyes.

Yeah, but the people of YT are really good predictors of who makes it through. The judges and I like Michael John last year, and he got the boot early.

Me...me...me... I like Adam Lambert!!! He has an amazing range. Of course, I also think he's very cute. :D I also liked Mishavanna. I don't know why all the judges gave her such a hard time.

And just to clarify . . . . . . I think Adam is an absolute hunk and if looks could win AI he would be a shoe-in.
As of right now I am predicting that Danny or Allison will take it all the way to the fanale.
And I am leaning toward Danny because he is a bit more mature and I think people will like that.

I think Adam is awsome and filled with so much talent.
However, I was a bit confused about his looks! Maybe it's my
age:( but I was unsure if he were a girl, guy or rocker. He did
remind me of a very young Elvis tho. He is a cutie for sure
but I didn't actually understand his look.
I think Adam, Allison and Danny will go into the top 5 at this
point. American sure has done a great job with their choices.

Carol, you are so funny. I agree with the girl, guy or rocker part:D

As I posted before I like Kris and if I was forced to pick a winner out of the six it would him.

Wasn't that the worst group song at the beginning you ever heard and dance you saw.:eek:

I also like Danny Gokey as well...he's very talented. However, I think Adam comes with the entire package...looks...voice...and he really stands out from the other contestant. I like him with this haircut instead (this link was posted early by Nancy1999), see linke below. I love the contrast of his blue eyes to his dark hair.

Anyway, who do you think will end up being selected as the wildcard? How many do they bring back for the wildcard? I really hope they bring back Misha.

I just saw a commercial for AI - there will be 3 shows this week. Group 3 performs Tues, results Wed & then on Thursday show - they showed the judges picking thru pictures again :rolleyes: -- I was really hoping they would put together 12 singers to sing a second time & let America vote.

I really do not like the way they have put this together this year - I liked the previous 12 girls/12 boys - except I always thought it should be the top 12 singers regardless of sex - which they are doing some of this year. But this was more about which group you ended up in.

The strange thing is I can not find one thing on their website explaining any of the new rules :rolleyes:

Yes, I agree this season is really confusing. I wonder why they decided to change to the rule this year.

I like Adam for his vocals too, but I think he really needs a new hair do. I like the other hair style pic that was linked much better. His hair as it is now seems to take away from his eyes. It feels like his eyes are being swallowed up by the massive hair. It's somewhat "big" but not in the 'fro sort of way, but probably because it's such a dark dye, it just totally consumes the head with the long, flat, straight bangs on the one side. It is indeed a very old Vidal Sassoon kind of look. :p

Of the current bunch, I am thinking Danny, Allison, and Adam are the strongest. In front of the piano, I believe the visually challenged guy is going to be one of the ones making it closer to the top if he performs well enough when it comes to be his turn.

In a way, I think giving the judges a chance to put a few back into the competition is a good thing... seeing as how in the past there were talents who were dropped earlier than they should have been. Like Michaal Johns... Well, I don't like him as he is now, and that song he performed with Carly was "bleh" but I was never really a Carly fan to begin with.

I don't like all the new changes either, I know they want to change it up a bit so it's not the same old show every season, after awhile every show needs a bit of a change or twist. But on the other hand I think it should be the 12 best vocalist no matter if they are male or female. It's supposed to be based on TALENT.

Yeah, I read something about they wanted to give the show a more "reality" type of show feel to it, and let viewers get to know the contestants better. I don't really think this is necessary, and in fact, it may lead to just personality voting, instead of talent voting.
