| Any Slim Fast users? I am wanting to lose some weight before my wedding in November and I'm thinking about trying Slim Fast. It really seems like it might work for me since I'm out of the house most of the day..either in class or at work. I think it would be handy to throw a meal bar in my bag and eat it on the go. Does any one have any experience with Slim Fast?

| Slim-Fast Love it! Loaded with vitamins and minerals so your hair and nails are so much healthier too. I drink them for the convenience of having something on the go so I never skip a meal. I find them to be filling as well. Good Luck and congrats on the wedding! |

| Try to eat something small every three hours and this will help boost your metabolism and keep you from being hungry. Pack small baggies of celery, carrots, grapes, almonds whatever you prefer. These travel well. Just don't skip any meals. Hang in there and you will succeed. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i find that slim fast is great for those on the go people. it doesn't help me lose weight. i used to drink it in the morning when i couldn't stomach actually eating solid food. i drink it for lunch sometimes when i don't have time to eat anything at work. the bars are good too. i thinks its more of a meal replacement when you don't have time to sit down and eat something better.

| I used Slim Fast five years ago to lose weight and then maintain that weight for my wedding. It really worked! I actually look at my pictures now and think maybe I lost a little too much weight. I would usually do a shake in the morning and at lunch. I would eat snacks like fruit, veggies, pita bread and peanut butter. Then for dinner I ate a lot of salmon...a lot. I counted calories, excercised and drank lots of water. I didn't mind the taste, although it eventually go a tad boring. Plus, they have a great website. Congrats and good luck!

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | you also have to remember that when you stop taking the slim fast you are probably going to gain weight again when you start eating regular foods again.

| Good point! Although I did notice that my appetite changed. I wasn't hungry as often and I ate smaller portions. So that was a plus.

| I'm hoping that this will be the case for me. My appetite is just out of control right now. I eat way more than I know I should but I just can't seem to help myself. I feel like I'm always hungry. With the slim fast plan, I'm hoping that since it's a set plan and I'm only supposed to have the two meals or shakes, a sensible dinner, and snacks that I'll be able to get a grip on what's going into my mouth.

| I've used Slim Fast before and I agree that it's great if you're on the go. I find the shakes more filling than the bars. I likes the Slim Fast Optima. I think they're less sugar maybe. But it's definitely a quick fix and not something I could stay on for any lengthy amount of time. I couldn't have the same thing for breakfast and lunch everyday... too boring. Good luck with the wedding! I'm sure it's going to be FABULOUS! |
