Well here's random......yesterday I got a tooth prepped for a crown and last night our Yorkie Audrey-Belle rolled over and fell out of bed. I knew that would happen one day, she didn't get hurt but she acted embarrassed.:aimeeyork |
Well, since we've gotten on the topic of yorkies falling out of bed... One night about a year ago I was sleeping with Sapphire at my feet. Not thinking, I stretched a little and heard a thunk. Next thing I knew, Sapphire was on the floor. I had obviously kicked her off the bed. |
Aww! Haha. Sounds like something I would do. Maybe not though. lol. Whenever I sleep with Jamie, he's kinda restless cuz he's not used to me. But even when he settles down and goes to sleep, I wake up every time he moves the littlest bit. I'd feel horrible if I squished him, and Misty would kill me. lol. Sorry for all of the color, but I felt that the thread could use some color! Kinda makes it hard to read though.... SORRY!:D |
hahaha! Wow! That's a bright post. :p Courtney - I've kicked Tucker off the bed soooo many times. I always feel bad...but he's a chunky monkey...he can handle it. :p For my Driver's Ed final today we took the Driver's test (the written one)..... AND I PASSED!!!!! eeekness!! I turn 16 in april...so I still can't drive haha...but I don't have to take the test again!!!! All I need is my 6 hours behind the wheel training...and I'll be able to get my permit on my birthday! I'm mucho excited. :D:D:D I still can't believe *I* took the driver's test haha. That's always seemed like such a "grown up" thing to do, you know? ahhh. I'm getting old. :p ;) and I had my *first* semi-professional acting gig today! I didn't get paid or anything, but my acting teacher had a couple friends (professionals) who needed teenagers for their short film (it all takes place in a classroom haha)...so they used our class. It was awesome. It was like a 15 minute movie...but we were filming for like 7 hours. It was like...the real deal! They had the camera and the lights and the action (:p) and the guy who stands over you with the microphone and doing the same scene over and over again so they could get different angles....and on my resume it'll count as a professional job! I'm SO excited haha. |
Megan - haha He must be pretty sturdy, then! :p And congrats! That's great!! I'm so happy for you. That must've been exciting! And all ready to get your permit?! Congrats! :) |
Congrats! I took driver's ED the beginning of this year. We only had to have 3 hours driving in class. And we had to take the written exam at the DMV or Highway Patrol office cuz they don't give it to you at school anymore unless you have something another that I didn't. lol. anyway. Do they do the whole thing where you have your permit for 6 months and then you get your intermediate for another 6 and then your license, or what? |
Congrats on the drivers permits! I think the most exciting thing around here is it's supposed to get above zero today. I can't wait for thaw then the ice will be totally gone from the roads. It was below zero when we got up but I know it's warmer out because Audrey-Belle didn't potty quick and run back to the door, she stayed out a few min and goofed around. She loves rolling in the snow! :animal36 |
^WOW! That's so cold! haha. Congrats on the *heat wave* lol. We didn't do any driving in class, we just learned the road rules and took the written test. Then we go to a driving school and do our 6 hours. Then we get our permit when we're 16 and we have that for a year. We take a road test when we turn 17 and then have our provisional for a year. and then you take another road test when you're 18 and if you pass that you're free to go have your basic liscense. :p For a little while I was buggin out cause they were talking about changing the permit age to 18. I think they did - but the cutoff is younger than me so...:) SNOW DAY! :D |
Snow day! Alright, my randomness for the day: we finally got snow!!!! HORAAAYYYYY!!!! Yesterday we took Finnigan out to play we only had 3 inches at the time. We had to put him in a snow suit w/ booties and a sweater underneath. Now today we woke up and I measured almost 9 inches on my deck! I can't wait to see what he does in this! It'll be taller than he is almost!!! I'm so excited, it happens to be my day off and Matt is taking off work after lunch so we can go sledding together. We're 25 and 26 and we still act like kids when it snows! LOVE IT!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!1 |
So far we are at 14* above zero but snow is to start about 3pm. |

Glad you have snow. I hate then cold. Especially the cold and wet. I'm a Mississippi girl, and even though our weather is trippin right now, going from 72 one day to 35 the next, I really hate anything below 60. If I can't wear a short sleeve shirt and survive, it's too cold. lol |
Woke to 13* today our high yesterday was 15* so today could be a heat wave for sure! WOOHOO! |
last night it was below zero, now its 26 and this weekend its supposed to be in the 50's with rain I'm sure to be sick next week after that warm up! |
There is a nasty stomach flu going around here, hope you don't get it. I just need to air out the house, the cat has so much hair in here that my nose runs all the time. The dog sheds too but not like her. In good weather I brush her outside once or twice a week and I swear I get enough fur to make a kitten or two. I need fresh air and less cat hair! |

My cat is bigger than my Yorkie and has med to long hair. She sheds like she should be bald! |

Good news: It's above zero Bad News: It's raining ice |
Ew.... cold. lol Okay, so quick update on mine and Misty's(RebelBelle's) mom. She is still on the ventilator. The nurse said that she didn't like the sound of her lungs, but they said that when she came in and they also said that she wasn't getting any worse. They took her off of her sedation to try and get her to respond better to their questions and test. They think that they are gonna have to put her on dialysis tomorrow to help her one good kidney to play catch up with all of the bacteria and stuff, but then, what they are hoping and expecting is for the kidney to be able to function perfectly all on its own without dialysis ever again. So, yay! Positives. That's whatcha gotta look for. |

Hope things go well please keep us posted. |
This is good especially if you have sound. For dog and cat lovers everywhere, you've gotta watch this one! Smile |
Random Posting Here..... Anyone know anything about Maragret Smith handbags? I know she made floral handbags for over 50 years and closed her shop in Maine in May of 2008 but I can't find out much more than that. I bought a brand new Maragret Smith handbag yesterday, it is gray wool. I'm trying to find out about how much it's worth. I know I got a deal on it at the thrift store for $3.99! I think it was one of those deals where someone didn't like it or know the value of it and just gave it away. It was probably a Christmas gift they didn't like. |
OKAY! Everything with my aunt is good. She came home yesterday, and is doing good. She's walking with her walker and besides a couple of minor discomforts, she's doing good. Moving on... OMG! I can't believe you found one of her purses for that cheap! Oh, today my high school choir went to district festival(choir competition), and we got superiors(best you can get) for Lady Madrigals, SSA choir, SATB choir, and sightreading! YAY! |
