The title peaked my interest so I stopped to look.


I'm home alone tonight. The hub and all the kids are out for the night. It should be quiet but the wind is just crazy and so are the pupsters. They want ot save the house from the wind.:p So I can't sleep and decided to make a new profile. Oh well................................

I'm still awake...and yes the wind is just howling here too. Luckily Winston doesn't seem to mind the wind...now the thunderstorms we had last night was a different story...he is terrified of those and he wants to be sure we all are wide awake.

Nope no fasting for me. I'm Southern Baptist. lol. ok so it's totally 2:35 AM so I think Imma head to bed lol

This weather sure has been crazy. It's like February in December.:cold smil My niece stated school at U of C this past fall. She grew up in Southern Cali. Boy did she get a shock. :p Poor kid went home for the holidays just to warm up.

A friend told me of the church of Saint Mattress. Sounds like a good place.

ah. Church. I go to church every week (unless I'm sick or something, of course). It's fun...but sometimes it seems to drag on. I'm looking forward to next week though...cause I'll be in a new sunday school class with the most amazing teacher ever. :)

I'm bored...anyone else up? I can't sleep! I have *no* clue how I'm going to get back on my school schedule once vacation is over!

anyway. I definitely think that I sprained/pulled/did something to one of the muslces in my abdomen! I did 100 sit ups last night in 2 minutes (:D), and it was a little sore afterwords, but that's normal. But today - all day - it's been a horrible burning, stinging pain! You know when you're exercising and when you're almost done and there's that burning sensation? That's exactly what it feels like! it's *very* uncomfortable!

other than thattt....I'm getting my new phone on Friday!!!! I'm *so* excited! I'm getting the touch screen voyager from verizon. I'm not looking forward to the money I'm having to spend on it lol...but I am looking forward to getting a good phone! :)

LOL I know what you mean about getting back on a schedule once break is over.

I have a voyager, and so does my husband! :D It is money worth spending, for sure! Its a great phone, and there is not really anything I dont like about it. Its very customizable, easy to text with, and sturdy. (Just make sure you get the front screen protector verizon sells.) And, Ive dropped this phone at least 10 times (Im clumsy) with minor scuffs and it works just fine!

We have had snow pretty much every other day the entire month of December. It's been a few years since we have seen this much snow. Must be "global warming". LOL
It's New Years Eve and it's to cold to go out and enjoy much of anything (7* last I heard) so I am in my favorite chair, with my yorkie by my side and the cat at my feet in front of the wood stove and a margarita on the side table. I am borrowing a laptop since my computer is still broke.

I just heard on The World News that the earth has sped up it's spinning by 1 second. That means we'll all get one second older sooner? Or dizzier... or something. Who cares? LOL.:p

There you guys are getting all that snow and all we've had is rain and ice this winter!! I'd gladly take some of that snow down this way!

Well, I woke up to more ice again... still no snow.... last year we didn't really have much snow until January and February then we got a big snow storm late in the winter, maybe it'll be more of the same...

We may get more snow tomorrow and the next day. I heard on tv during the weather recap of 2008 that we were 1.6 degrees cooler here all year compared to normal. We felt it, some days we wondered if spring was ever going to come. Global Warming hasn't found it's way to MN! LOL

Snow!!! Its 70 here and muggy! cant wait for beach season!

Well, we got a light dusting of snow last night. Nothing much.

My random thought: I have had the "Chicken Dance" song stuck in my head since my son's birthday party on Sunday. They were listening to a kids CD and kept playing that song over to do the dance to it.

^LOL! I love that dance!

Sooo today in Driver's Ed., we watched a movie (a documentary, really) about this woman who was in a drunk driving accident and only had like a 3% chance of survival and crushed every bone in her face and and whatever. The seargent of the police dept. was there, along with one of the detectives, cause they were the ones presenting it (my town is small...they really have nothing better to do lol).

Well, I've never been good with gross things (I'm really squeemish). and a little bit into the movie I started feeling dizzy...and Sarge (the Sgt.) asked me if I wanted to leave and I said I was fine. But then like, 5 minutes later, I couldn't take it so I got up to leave.

So I went outside into the little opening (there's a big empty opening and it leads to the bandroom, the backstage area, and the driver's ed room) and I was like leaning against the wall and I told Sarge I couldn't hear him (he was talking to me) and I couldn't see so he got me a chair, and like the second I sat down I passed out. So then comes the nurse flying through the halls with a wheelchair to come get me to take me to her office. I told her I could walk (I was fine by this point) but she made me ride in it anyway, which just drew more attention to me.

and then I left school to go over to my acting school, and by the time I got back to school, everyone knew what had happened.

That was fun. :rolleyes:

Oh, for heaven's sake, Megan!!!! Well, at least the kids had something to talk for the rest of the day.:D:D:D

Megan, it's ok to faint...no fun, but still it's alright. Trust me I know...my hubby does this each and every time he has to get a blood test. Way back when...like 30 years ago, you had to get a blood test to get married...needless to say we dated for a VERY long time simply because he did not want to get the blood test.

I faint every time I have to get blood drawn too! I thought you still had to get a blood test to be married? I was planning on putting it off for a while just because of that! :p

Thanks guys. It had mostly blown over today...though a few of the kids were still talking about it. :rolleyes: ah, the joys of going to a small school.

Oddly (but not very surprisingly) my brother, Kevin, was probably the only person in the school who didn't know it had happened. but he's never been very observent haha.

And do you love the phone? My niece got one for her birthday/christmas (I think for the next two years lol) and she LOVES it. I love it too!:D

and I LOOOOVE the phone!! I don't regret buying it AT ALL! The only things I do regret buying are the plastic cover for it (incase of drops) and the screen protector (which was really just a piece of plastic). people say that the screen flips around and it breaks easily...well I know I've only had mine for a short time...but I'm not exactly gentle with phones...and mine is still very much intact and working just as well as the day it came home. :D and I have short nails (I'm a nail biter---bad!!!) so I've never really been able to work a touch screen properly, but I hardly ever have a problem with this phone's touch screen. The screen is just sensitive enough that it moves easily, but not sensitive enough that it opens everything I touch. I lurve! :love:

PS - I'm a real nutcase. I named it and her name is Violet. :p

I remember in high school we had to watch a movie in health class on cuts and burns. We got a warning at the begining and just as I was thinking it was no big deal I heard a thud as the girl next to me hit the isle. Yep, faint happens!

Hmm... Random thought... Let's see... I'm not really supposed to have caffeine. Now I'm wondering how long I'll stay up tonight as I sit here and drink a large diet coke from McDonald's. :D

Random ... my dining room stinks because a Piddle Pad must've sprung a leak on the bottom, or had a break in its plastic to begin with and I didn't notice. BLEAH... so, ... i put Natures Miracle, but... it's just so smelly now. Old wee wee smell. So I bought some Renuzit spray ( a Febreeze type thing) and it's scent is Pure Breeze. YUCK.. doesn't smell like any Pure Breeze I've ever smelled.. I think the old wee wee smell was better. So i'm in a living hell now of scents that I don't like! So I burned an Incense stick "Nag Champa"... very pleasurable scent like at a druggy concert or something,... but, That + Pure Breeze + Natures Miracle + Old Wee Wee..... I think i'm going to go check into a motel now. :( I can\'t take the smells!!!!! waaa!!!

OH! And I forgot to say, my neighbors CAT keeps pooping under my carport, and I stepped in it again today... So theres THAT smell too, although I think I scrubbed most of that off my shoe.
Then I put Lemon Pine Sol under the carport to hopefully scare the cat away from pooping there.

OMG!!! I\'m really into things that smell today. What is wrong with me... !!!!! :eek:
