My random thing: We had a bird trapped in our fireplace right above the floo. It had been there since yesterday making a lot of racket, so we figured it was stuck. We held a blanket over the front and open the floo. Well the blanket fell and the bird was loose in the house. The dogs went nuts!! My son was screaming. The bird kept flying into the windows. (It was a starling.) Finally, I was able to trap it in the laundry room and open the door to outside. As soon as it felt the breeze it was gone. It's an hour later and the dogs are still looking for it. |

Randomness - I fell asleep in the rocking chair last night with Tink on my chest. Woke up about 3 am with her licking my chin. LOL:rolleyes: Caffeine doesn't appear to bother me. I drink coffee all day and soda all night. Of course maybe that's why I fly through most of the day.;) Hmmmm..... And Megan, don't think a thing about fainting dear. I was walking across the studio at the TV station where I worked a number of years ago and thunked on the floor right in front of the camera man. No idea why - just out like a light. :confused: |
^That's so strange about fainting just like that! The craziest things happen sometimes! Birds: I love birds, but I'd probably freak out if there was one in my house! Eek!! Randomness: I was supposed to work 10:30-5 today, but since we got 3 inches of snow the earth stands still ( :rolleyes: ) so they sent me home at 2. Yay for $25 paychecks. :rolleyes: anddd....I have to go to a bridal shower. Honestly, I want to go to this thing about as bad as I want to have a root canal without anestesia. I know, really nice of me haha. But for some reason I'm not in the greatest mood today. :confused: |
Gosh, I think winter boredom has set in with me...Nothing to do, as I really don't care for ANY of the winter sports. Getting tired of reading already, and I can't seem to find anything worth watching on TV. Ho-hum...I'm just not a winter person... |

I get bored during the winter, too... I'm mostly on my computer or playing video games, though. My random thought: I'm on season 5 of 24. I watched 8 episodes yesterday and 2 today. @_@ I'm on disc 4 now. There are 4 episodes on each disc, 24 episodes in all. Each season takes place in a 24 hour time period. Anyone else watch it?? |
I am a winter person, but since we've still had no snow.... there is nothing for me to do... no sledding, no snowmen, no forts, no snowball fights, no snow shoveling.... nothing....... arg..... tonight after I got off work I cleaned all my windows, inside anyway..... if I weren't so addicted to YT now I;m sure I'd be scrap booking or something right now, but the addiction wins.... :D |

My two best friends, Jess and Emily, and I are going on a trip to Boston for Jess's sweet 16. :D:D:D:D:D I'm SO excited. Our other (newer) friend might be coming too, but we don't know if her parents will let her. This is going to be SO much fun! anddd...my school show is going SO well so far. We just started rehearsals last week, but I'm having SUCH a blast! |

We got 6 inches of snow yesterday, woke to 24 below zero this morning with a wind chill in the -30's. Where oh where is global warming????? As usual our school dist did not delay or cancel school as many others did. I'm not really superstitious but a bird flying into your house was a bad sign in the old days....... |

I got my current math grade today...the marking period ends next Friday....and I have an A!!!! Holy CRAP!! I legit almost fell over from SHOCK. I mean, I've worked my caboose off this year after spending my summer vacation in summer school, but I NEVER thought I'd get an A. I haven't gotten an A in math since 4th grade. This is SOOOOOO exciting. Now I just hope that I do well on my test next week so I can hang onto it. Then I'm home free. If I get an A in math on my report card I'll cry. No joke. |

We're freezin' here too. I think I heard -18 degrees right now. Tonight will be colder with a windchill of -45 expected. I'm glad I have a Yorkie to keep me warm. Yeah right - like that would help.:rolleyes: Blankets, blankets, blankets, layers and layers of clothing. A nice warm bed at night. No wonder the population soars in October! :eek: :p |
Woke to -24* today, didn't even want to know what the wind chill was. My Yorkie has been curled in a ball between my legs at night. She's warm but I can't get up or roll over. LOL They promise a warm up sometime this weekend, what crazy weather this is! The black ice is causing major car pile ups, so I stay very close to the pets and the pellet stove. |
Brrr.. it's cold here too but not that cold. It's 28 now (pretty warm compared!) I've taken up wearing a knit hat in the house sometimes, and yesterday my husband said I've become a Bag Lady. I told him that bag ladies know how to keep warm, apparently. I looked up Bag Lady online to see if there is an association :p (so I could show it to him & see if he thinks I should join...:p..) then I learned there is a Psychological Syndrome REALLY called BAG LADY SYNDROME!! OMG!!!! I think I have it, not cuz I wear a hat in the house to keep warm.. but.... cuz I scrimp & save my money. OMG OMG! I developed this syndrome after I got my last gas heating bill for the house! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: |
