| Do you think a 7 year old would like this movie? My son saw the previews and said he wants to see it. I know its PG13, but so is Star Wars which he loves. Should I take him or get a babysitter?

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I don't know if a 7 y.o would like it. He might get bored..but if he wants to see it then i guess it would be fine. My sis in law little sister went with us, she's 11 i think but she was totally bored. She didnt read the book or know anything about the movie

I agree...if he wants to see it...take him and see...who knows, he might really like it or might not. My niece was 12 that I took and she liked it...she liked the books better though.....my nephew went (4th grade) and it was okay to him...a lot of scenes were over his head and he didn't read any of the books....I think it just depends on the child.

That was what my niece was saying....it was changed so much from the book...and it was....but I think they did pretty good since there was NO way to get all the good details into the movie...although, I guess they could have tried better! With that being said....it hasn't stopped me from seeing it so many times (or other people) Anyone hear how much it brought it opening weekend? AND there is a shirt my niece and daughter were wanting....but we can NOT find it. Something about Cullens 00 on the back (like a ball shirt) and I don't know what else...I haven't looked online yet...just know, all the stores around here are pretty much sold out of shirts.

| I made my husband take me to see it last night. We took his 8 year old daughter with us. I liked it and they both said it was okay. They didn't fall aleep at least. I know we were the oldest there. I am 38 and there was a lot of teenagers. I just finished the book and I had to see the movie. I ordered the other three books today. I guess I am hooked too. I was disapointed with the actors that played the Cullens. Edward was okay. But the rest were not what I pictured them to be. I hate when you read a book and you picture what every character looks like and you see the movie and it's nothing like what you pictured. The actors were not that great but they were okay. I enjoyed the book much more then the movie. But I usually like the books better than the movies anyway. I will go see the next one.
