I doubt it, its a love story, thats what it is. If you don't like love stories you probably won't enjoy the book as much as others. Give it a try though!

Trust me they hear a LOT more in school then in this book.
i know, at that age thats all teenage girls care about. They went crazy when Rob pattinson came out in the movie

I know!!! They werent what i pictured either!! All the cullens were supposed to be drop dead gorgeous, above everyone else and some of them just looked like everyone else in the h.s., nothing special like Rosalie, Jasper, etc and dr. cullen. Anyway i had fun watching it Eddward is def. hot! lol And bella is pretty, i just didnt like much how she delivered the lines but w.e.

My mom went with me and actually stayed up so i was surprised and she liked it!! I never thought she would but she really loved it, there were so many funny parts in the movie that were supposed to be serious where i was cracking up and all the tweenys. Like i think it was jasper's face, thru out the movie he looked pained and then edward's face sometimes, he was overdramatic..ohh gosh so many parts but it was good. The kids were making me laugh more cause they would crack up over anything and act so immature so they made me laugh. I had to keep explaining thru out the movie to my mom that didnt read the book, its much better understood if the book is read first

You're never too old for a good love story! lol. I'll be 25 in a month and I loved the books. I finished all 4 in 4 days. lol.

I'm probably gonna go see the movie tonight and I can't wait! Although I've heard mixed reviews about the movie... but I guess that always happens with one that's been as hyped up as this. But I have to say, I agree with those above... the actors they chose were not at all as I'd invisioned. Especially Bella, Esme, & Carlisle.

I have read all of the books and went last night. I loved the movie although it is a bit over the top in certain parts. One of the girls I went with just thought it was just ok, but she hadn't read the books yet. There are a lot of non-talking sections in the movie and if you read the book you know what they are thinking so I had to fill her in a few times. The others that went with and read the book loved it too. The teenagers were sooo funny! They cracked me up and were sighing when Edward first came into the picture.

Ha Ha... very true!! You are NEVER too old for a good love story. Especially one like this. I went with my sister and my bf. My sister is just as obsessed with the books as I am and she HATED the movie. She was mad when she left. I on the other hand liked it, and my bf who has never read the books thought it was actually pretty good. I think my sister had too high of expectations though, whereas I just wanted it to be pretty accurate and have a good Edward character. The main thing that bothered my sister was the actress that played Bella. She really wasn't the greatest actor but she really grew on me and by the end of the movie I was actually happy with her as Bella. I loved Edward and I thought that Rosalies character was just terribly miscast. I knew there was no way it would even come close to the book but I think that they did a pretty good job.

There was this review i saw on tv that matched perfectly, they said it was kinda like the filming of the movie Thirteen and the bad acting, which i thought was true, most of the actors werent that great. But overall it was good. I love when he was playing the piano and the scenenry was so pretty in the forest, etc

I am 32 and read all the books! I do have to admit it took me 2 weeks to finish book 4. I mean it was probably the most action packed one, but by that point I was just getting tired of the story.
In the books I was not a huge fan of edward, I thought he was controlling, dramatic and moody. He was always mad about something and way too overprotective. But in the movie he was much more romantic and sweet, I really liked him in the movie!

I loved the graduation cap artwork in the house! Thats all I'll say but that was pretty funny! I laughed a lot in the movie, I didnt remember the book being all that funny!

I've only read the first three books, waiting on my daughter's friend to finish Breaking Dawn so I can read it next. I LOVED the books, the movie, not so much. BORING! I was seriously in danger of nodding off several times They did not do the book justice, imho. Corny acting, forced dialog, and way too many looooooooooooooooooooooong "staring into each others eyes" sequences James really cracked me up, he reminded me of a Yorkie in a way because he kept tilting his head

I think when the other movies get made and come out, I'll be waiting for them to come out on DVD.
