| I have Verizon with my Blackberry. Apparently, Blackberry and Verizon have a contract that requires all Verizon Blackberry users to get the data plan. It makes since though; Why would you have a Blackberry if you aren't going to use the internet/e-mail? It's not very expensive though...I believe its $20 on top of your regular monthly bill. |

| Well, I live in the boonies and I get decent service. I'll drop calls every now and then but no company is going to be perfect with service. I love my BlackBerry though... there's so much you can do with it. My boyfriend & I both have Pearls, our bill runs about $170 a month. We have: -The lowest family plan you can have which is about $60 or $70 -The fee for having a 2nd phone which is like $10 or something -BlackBerry Unlimited Data which is $30 for each line -200 texts a month on each line which is $5 -Insurance which is... I'm not sure, it's like $4 or something for each phone I think that's it then of course they have their million dollar fees they add on.

| The only problem I have had with my Blackberry was when we evacuated for Gustav.....guess that was to be expected though . I have not had a problem since or before. I can actually say through ATT they do add a charge for customers with a Blackberry phone but it is not that much; especially if you already have a family plan with all the goodies applied to your phone bill (ie......me....with three kids)....lol. As a matter of fact, my oldest son wants a Blackberry Pearl. I am sure he will be getting that soon; and if the thread is still open I can let you know how it goes. However, from my point of view I love the Curve. I can download my ringtones and make them the way I want on my music site then send them mms and I am good to go. I have a pretty good bit of memory as well; and I never have a problem knowing where my ringtones go. I know someone (while transferring music via bluetooth) can't find out where their ringtones go . However, mine is quite easy . I hope this helps some!

| Blackberry pearl is very efficient for students, and busy moms. but you can not send or receive videos, and you can not videoshare. My niece has one and she loves it. I pay for a total of five phones. 3 samsung 737, one Iphone (mine) , and one blackberry pearl. The largest bill I would say is the blackberry pearl, because the smallest data plan is 35.99, If you got the 3g I phone. is 30., if you got the 2G las year or early this year, is 20. I love my Iphone, and if I suitch I would jailbrake it. The only con I see with the iphone is that pictures must be sent atatched to emails.

| Oh, I forgot to add, it is good with a BlackBerry to have a memory card in it to store your ringtones and pictures on. They're just like computers therefore if they have too much memory taken up they'll start malfunctioning and I've heard that the phone will start deleting messages and stuff to make room for pictures, etc.

That said- I will NEVER not have another Blackberry again. I can't imagine life without it I have the Pearl but will probably go with something more like the Curve next time, due to the bigger screen. I would be careful with the 1st generation of the Blackberry touchphone, like everything, the 1st gens usually have the most problems. Give your Pearl a chance, it took me a few days to fall in love, but once you fall you're done for! My hubby gets jealous...

I think everyone loves their BlackBerrys, I've had so many Motorolas and LGs and stuff and really nothing compares to the BlackBerry, it's so much better in every aspect. Once you go Black, you never go back?!

| i LOVEEEEEE my blackberry! i started with a pearl but i only had it a couple months since i cancelled with sprint. i'm still on a family plan with my parents and my brother so i got a curve with verizon.. i had the silver one but then got the pink one instead after riley chewed... yeah lol =) i'm probably going to end up getting the storm when it comes out (thank god for working @ best buy). the curve is a LOT lighter than an iphone, i have an itouch so i just carry both of them with me. for verizon its $30 extra on top of your plan for basic unlimited blackberry data (email, internet, etc) but that doesnt include text messaging. they do have a phone plan though where its unlimited text to anyone with any service which i'm lucky to have since im a txt-a-holic
