| Think Ring Thoughts Well I'm in Virginia Beach visiting my boyfriend for a few days and saying bye to tow friends that I have made up here...they are getting transfered to Guam. So everybody think and pray for an enguagement ring to be on my finger when I get back to Fl. After 3 yrs of the long distance thing I just want to have a ring so I can start really looking for jobs in the area. You would think the necklace and earings would be enough but I WANT THE ENGAGEMENT RING I love him so much and we started out as friends and progressed to where we are today, he's nice and makes me laugh and I have been happier than I have been in a while...well with the exception of when my parents got lil bear and when I got moose.....yes though he has his guy moments where I would just love to slap him silly!!! (ie. like talking about his feelings toward me and our relationship more than two sentences) He hasn't met moose yet, Southwest doesn't allow dogs on flights, but he likes lil bear eventhough he calls her a moving piece of lint So everyone cross your fingers, do lots of positive thinking and pray!!!

| Good luck. Virginia Beach? Navy? If so, I think they do something to the guys there...mine proposed as soon as he came back home. He didn't want me to have to go through life as a navy wife. (With him being on the ship so long, he didn't want me to be alone so long.) But he did propose. You have my thoughts!!

| Assure him that isn't going to happen...mine went through that too. I never had a day go by where he wasn't the only thing I thought about. It's hard but it IS possible. He called as often as he could and wrote me like three letters a day, it was hard to forget he still existed. He was my life...and still is! The navy really does something to these guys, he had changed so much after his deployment I thought I hardly knew him. (It was all for the better though so don't worry.) I don't know how old he is but you can probably expect him to do a lot of growing up while he is deployed!! If you don't get a ring before he goes...thee will probably be one after he gets back. (It's a security issue I think.)

| Just tell him what you want. My husband was such a woosie about taking rings. That's why I made the first move. Our first date was because my brother was chirping in his going your not going to call her blah blah blah. So when i was ready and thought it was time i told him that i loved him very much and would really like to marry him. and he said okay and we started looking for rings. and then he actually porposed to me.

| sorry I haven't posted in a bit, terrible job looking for new one and trying to keep up with moose and training among other things. Well I didn't get the ring when I was up there. Though it wasn't from lack of trying on my BF friend's wife part. She and I have become close and since this was the last time to see them before they moved to guam we did a lot with them. She and I took eric into a jewlery store where I showed him an enguagement ring I liked....that's progress...first time he semi-willingly went into that kind of store with me. My mom says it's cause his friends wife was with us, but I chose to think otherwise. He is on shift work now since they will be going out soon. So he works from noon to midnight everyday. Been very hard to talk with him since I'm at work or asleep when he's going to work or comming home. Thankgoodness for e-mail and cell phones. I really want to move up there so we can see each other a bit. Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, and crossings of stuff. Please don't stop doing it....still no ring

Free advice: If you move there, don't move in with him. Get your own place!
