Just tell him what you want. My husband was such a woosie about taking rings. That's why I made the first move. Our first date was because my brother was chirping in his going your not going to call her blah blah blah. So when i was ready and thought it was time i told him that i loved him very much and would really like to marry him. and he said okay and we started looking for rings. and then he actually porposed to me.
