Assure him that isn't going to happen...mine went through that too. I never had a day go by where he wasn't the only thing I thought about. It's hard but it IS possible. He called as often as he could and wrote me like three letters a day, it was hard to forget he still existed. He was my life...and still is! The navy really does something to these guys, he had changed so much after his deployment I thought I hardly knew him. (It was all for the better though so don't worry.) I don't know how old he is but you can probably expect him to do a lot of growing up while he is deployed!! If you don't get a ring before he goes...thee will probably be one after he gets back. (It's a security issue I think.)
