| OMG that looks so painful I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but make sure after he's all healed up that you put a strong sunblock on the scar. Sun exposure will keep it from fading away. He's young so it should probably be hardly noticeable or even invisible when he's older. What a good looking kid!!!

| I just caught up with this and wanted to see how your son is doing. That had to hurt - big time! I also just want to add that he is going to do some serious heart-breaking when he gets older (if he hasn't already). Makes me wish I were about 45 years younger. Seriously, he's a great looking young man. I hope he is healing without any scars.

| I don't know if you have a winter season where you are, but here in PA, when we get scrapes and the new skin comes in white while the rest is all tan, it all evens out in the winter and by the next summer it's all blended in. In the winter, here, those of us who don't do the tanning salons, tend to turn the color of the flourescent bulbs in the overhead fixtures. Very sexy, I must say. I know I look like almost like an albino - with freckles - unless I go out in the snow on a really sunny day - then I burn. Seriously, I'm glad he's healing.
