I've contacted all the local news stations with no interest... and emailed CNN, MSNBC, FOX and CBS (I think, that was the other one) - - even considering Oprah and Ellen and Leno!! lol

You never know... nothing could come of it... but something may!!

Wondering if it would be worth a shot to contact the surgeons at Alameda East in CO - that they feature on Animal Planet's Emergency Vets....

That is not the answer to this question. Emma is doing well. Her bodily functions are working just fine, she is moving around, she is eating, she is gaining weight... I cannot believe that you would write this.

I agree with no more surgeries to her little face at this time (unless she finds an amazing surgeon) but by all means putting her down when there is nothing "illness" wise wrong with her!!! Not acceptable.

I know you are trying to do what's best for her, but I think life at all costs is not always the best. Reading that they had to do the surgery without using anesthesia was heartbreaking. I think some of us want to believe she's not in that much pain, but I think she is. Praying God will will be done.

Please keep your opinions to yourself. Comments such as these at this time seem so heartless and cruel. If you've watched the video at all you would see that baby Emma is moving around just fine and seems to be gaining strength. She does not seem to be suffering at all and is surrounded with love, support, and prayer!

I am so sorry, when I saw the thread that said "oh boy", made me think it was a boy.
I just hate to see any animal or human suffer so much.
I had a Maltese, he was 15 years old, me and the Vet thought he had a heat stroke, he started being in so much pain, fell off of the sofa, hit his head, got to the point that he could not stand up to eat or drink, he would lay down while eating too pee.

Would this be your advise to a mother of a HUMAN baby???? A HEALTHY human baby born with a deformity???????
