No Longer a Member | Lori, I'm sorry you hurt your neck. OUch! I know how bad that can feel. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious. Muscle strains in your neck can cause a lot more pain that we think they should. Our heads are really heavy and hard to hold up, so even a little strain can hurt a lot. I'll keep you in my thoughts today. I hope you get good news from the Dr. |

| Aww Lori, I am so sorry. I hope your neck heals soon and you don't have to endure to much pain. I am always leary when sweeping our stairs for that reason right there. I ended up getting a nice sweeper that unattaches in the middle specifically to sweep stairs, if you want I can give you the brand and model to look into. (((((HUGS))))) |

You take it easy girl!! I know it's hard to sit and do nothing. Ice helps any swelling/inflammation. That's why they say ice for the first few days at least and then sometimes heat. I really hate to ask this, but how did the vacuum come out in this battle on the stairs? | |

| OUCH! That had to hurt JK, I hope you're enjoying your muscle relaxers. You see, that's exactly why I avoid vaccuuming at all costs. Enjoy your rest and let the vacuum fairies take care of the cleaning for awhile.

| I'm just seeing this now!! Ouch!! Lori, I'm so sorry you had a fall. I had a cervical strain before too and it did hurt but the cervical collar they gave me to wear was what I really hated!! I hope you milk it good and get well soon!!

| Oh my!! I just bought my new Dyson and there was a warning about that in the book and a "don't do this" picture. Are you the reason for that warning?? They must have printed that quickly! ............I'm just teasing. I've done that myself and can't believe that I haven't been hurt. A vaccuum is a lot of weight to land on you like that. Please take good care of yourself!!

| Glad to hear that things are getting better for you. A Strain is MUCH better than something that would require a "permanent fix"!! ..... although sometimes a strain is MUCH more painful than something that is "broke" and needs surgery. Take it easy........ enjoy a good rest!!........ and take advantage of any physical therapy exercises..... at first they can be a pain in the butt..... but eventually they will be a godsend!! (at least this was my experience with a back injury....... disc probs) Good Luck Lori....... Have a nice weekend!!!
