Aww Lori, I am so sorry. I hope your neck heals soon and you don't have to endure to much pain. I am always leary when sweeping our stairs for that reason right there. I ended up getting a nice sweeper that unattaches in the middle specifically to sweep stairs, if you want I can give you the brand and model to look into.
