I honestly don't know. I've always had a phobia of it! I asked mom the other day if I'd ever even tried it (she loves mayo), but she can't remember me ever eating it. I think its just the look and consistency of it. |
Boy I am happy we are at the top of the food chain..I will stick to cookie mush... |
I love nanner and mayo samichez also! I will pass on escargot...I really tried to like it but YUCK!! Raw oysters I ate as a child when my father fed them to me but now that I am grown and aware, no thanks! I will eat oyster stew though. Have you ever tried roasted garlic? It is absolutely yummy spread on sourdough with some olive oil! I couldn't eat blood anything. Or head cheese. Your friend with the tuna and grits needs to be committed. Seriously! Quote:

i love roasted garlic. i love garlic anything. i grew up on the gulf of mexico so seafood was always freshly harvested the same day. Boy i miss that! my parents used to fry the fish egg sacs they would get when they filleted the fresh fish ewww they would pop in the grease..yuck |
I tried fried gator once..I wasn't that big of a fan. It was too chewy for me..kind of like calamari...I dont like that either! |

I also miss the fresh fish. I love to go fishing and we went on a deep sea fishing trip here in CA some years back. It is so much different in Florida. I like it best in FLA because it is a relaxing on the water experience. No pressure. Here they bait about a gazillion hooks on your rod, you plunk it down, a gazillion fish get on it, your remove them and do it again. FOR THE ENTIRE TRIP! It is like hard work. No relaxation. :( I'll take FLA fishing any time over that experience. We had fish forever but no fun. |

I don't eat tuna either! My list of things I do eat is much shorter than those I don't eat. |

ETA: AND that is NOT tuna salad! You need to think of a name for that one. :p |
4 Attachment(s) hmm.. im from just outside of New Orleans.. (said New Or-lins):p sooooo grits are a MUST... with salt and lots of butter! im not really sure what we eat down here that no one else will. everything is SO yummy but i DO work with a girl from Mass. who now lives in Louisiana.. and she recently told me that she HATES gumbo and jambalaya!! hmm..... OH.. we eat crawfish! thats something that MANY ppl wont eat if theyre not from around here. but i dont think they realize how we season them and cook them.. if you want REAL crawfish, go to a REAL crawfish boil at someones house...... not at a restaurant. this is how we do it at my house.. ENJOY! :D |

That's how they do it in Texas, too. I am inviting myself to your next crawfish boil. ;) I don't eat them in restaurants. :thumbdown That girl that doesn't like gumbo and jambalaya should not be allowed to live in Louisianna. :D |
Everyone always finds this gross but I love it and can't bring myself to stop eating it. I love kraft blue box macaroni and cheese and opening those plastic tubs of chocolate pudding and mixing it in. I don't even like chocolate that much but I love chocolate and macaroni and cheese.:D I also love getting banana's and tomatoes and squishing them together with some salt and pepper on top. Even though I am old, I still like to get a little of each flavor soda at buffets. :p |
