I have met several famous people because my mom works at drivers license and even famous people need to go to the DMV

Here are some people I have met:

John Travolta and Kelly Preston
Ricky Martin
Gloria Estafan
Lots of small screen novella actors ( They are all really cute )
Shaq
Alonzo Mourning
Lots of basketball and baseball players
Usher (At and autograph signing)
Shakira
Robin Gibb (He still sends my mom a christmas card every year)
Clay Aiken (After seeing spam alot in nyc he came out)
Willy Chirino

Those are all I recall off the top of my head there are probably some more.

It's surprising but the nicest celebrity was Ricky Martin. He was an absolute sweetheart. He even went to the back and let us take all the pictures we wanted.

When I posted earlier I totally forgot of another.. Brad Paisley..before he MADE it big..I worked part time at a drivethru/carry out and we would sell beer and drinks at a outdoor concert place and he performed there a lot. We had to supply the entertainment with stuff backstage. He was very sweet and nice. He would even ride around on the golf cart with us.

During the 70's I worked at the front dest for the Marriott Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio and met so many important people.

President Nixon
Pat Nixon (they were there over night)
Robert DiNiro
Al Pacino
All the NBA basketball players
All the NFL football players
Hockey players (professional) they were wild and so full of fun and all the basketball players were depressed.(or most) away from home so much and the schedule is so long.
Lassie treated like the star of stars.
But the biggest thing ever for the hotel was the Mohammad Ali fight in 1975 when he fought Chuck Wepner to retain his heavyweight championship. He, his mother, aunt, wife, girlfriend and other took one entire floor. They did not eat in the restaurant, the aunt did all the cooking. I knew nothing about him but I learned quickly since the hotel was filled with newspeople and camera men from all over the world for that fight. Howard Cosell was a famous sports announcer here in the states and he was probably the most demanding of all but all in all things went off quite well and Mohammand and his group were very nice. I loved hotel work since one day was never the same and customer service was something I enjoyed.

I worked at a really nice restraunt in Edina, Minnesota and I have met all kinds of old school Vikings, Timberwolves and Twins players. Kylie Wong was my fave! He is sooooo hot and would always ask to sit in my section, my heart was broke when he went to Houston I met Sam Mitchell there too!
After moving to San Antonio I met a few Spurs! I was having lunch by myself at Pappadux at the bar and Samalke Walker was there too, we sat next to eachother and he bought me a drink when was only 20! I met Tony Parker when his home was under construction in the Dominion.
I have had drinks with the band 311 after a show.
And when I was 16 I met Steven Segal in Kodiak, Alaska. He is an a$$hole.

I really want to meet Craig Killborn and Jake Gyllenhall, I know I could make him fall in love with me!

I shared some potato chips wit Clint Eastwood on the beach in Pam Beach, FL. back in the summer of 75 or 76 (so long ago now I forget which year). He invited my friend and I to a party later that night, but we were only 17 or 18 at the time. I was thinking what a fool I would have made at the party. He was very nice and very polite.

Here's my story. I WAITED ON Patrick Swayze in the emergency room. He was filming "Grandview USA" in my hometown. (Anyone see that movie? Also had Jamie Lee Curtis & C Thomas Howell.)

I worked in the ER (triage and registration). I was about 20 years old and way "too cool" to make moon eyes over celebrities. I actually asked him his name and made him spell his last name!! He had been dancing and stepped off a curb and twisted his ankle. He was doing wheelies in the wheelchair all over the ER. He was a little bit of a jerk (but then I guess I was too. He was young.) After I had him sign for permission, everyone else made copies of his "autograph".

Jamie Lee Curtis made friends with a young sweetheart named Lori in our town who had a heart transplant. She was about 12-14 years old. Jamie hung out with Lori all the time and stayed in touch with her and came back to visit her after the movie.

I was an extra in a "League of Their Own" when I lived in Indiana. But they didn't let us hang out too much with the stars.

I gotta know...what part of Dallas does she work in??? I'm obviously not hanging out in the right parts of town. I do know that Prison Break was being filmed in Dallas. For a long time (before the strike) they were filming right down the street from my office. But you couldn't get to it. I tried to watch the show in case I ever saw anyone (and to see if I recognized anything) but couldn't get into it. They didnt' come back after the strike was over. So I don't know if they moved to a different location, or are not on anymore or what.

I've met a few country singers, but probably no one that would impress anyone.

I've only met Booker T which is a WWF wrestler. He is a customer at the bank I work for. I didn't know he was famous until somebody told me .
My mom met Mel Gibson. He was filming Apocalyto in Veracruz, Mexico my hometown. She was walking to her car and she looked at this guy walking towards her then she realized who he was and stood there in shock!! She's always had a crush on him every since Mad Max. He smiled at her and she couldn't say a word. She also met Robert Duval in Veracruz too he was drinking coffee at a very famous coffee shop there.

I've met a lot of professional baseball players and got their autographs. I don't know if they are considered "famous" lol

I met Spiderman when they were filming the last movie. They did some filming in downtown Cleveland, and I work there in the eves. It just happened to be "bring your kid to work day", and my coworker had her 7 year old son there. So, on our break we went out to see if we could get a look at Spiderman, and there he was!!

What a nice guy he was! He actually posed for pictures and talked to my coworker's son, which really made his day!! I got some pictures for him with my cell phone camera. It was so exciting for him!

So I have one to add to the list, although i know who he is by his name i don't know his work. Anyway Erik Estrada came today to the restaurant and of course i got to serve him lol He was with his family. He was very very nice and funny and tipped me very good. It was so random that he came in, everyone was asking me if i knew who he was and i was like not really lol

That cracks me up that you didn't know who he was. You aren't missing much, I'll just say that.

But really, what are any of us gaining from meeting "famous" people?
