| ![]() I use my crockpot a lot, put a chicken breast or leg/thigh quarter in with a potato wrapped in foil and turn it on and forget it. Also put a thick pork chop in with a can of cream of celery soup and that's good. Cook cauliflower or broccoli in a cooking bag in the microwave and that's supper. Very good and healthy, too. |

| ![]() Tonight I am going to my fathers. He is making steak. If that wasnt the case....I would be having coffee. I cant cook to save my life. I must rely on the kindness of others for food. I can however whip up a bowl of cereal like no body's busines. |

Boneless skinless chix breast sliced into tender type size/shape and sprinkle with kosher salt and cracked peps. dredge in an unbleached flour that has kosher salt, cracked pep & organic garlic powder added and mixed in to taste Saute in EVOO & a couple pats of butter--- small batches at a time. About 2-3 minutes each side or until golden brown, removing to a dish with paper towels. When the last batch has been flipped to the second side add finely chopped organic garlic (I use 3/4 of a bulb for 2-3 people)and then hold the pan off and away from the stove and add a healthy dose of cream sherry. You will see things become creamy looking. Do not use cooking sherry in the vinegar aisle. Serve over penne and add chicken and ration sauce over all and sprinkle with shredded asiago cheese and serve to rave reviews. Also can be made with veal or shrimp. | ||
