| Ok, now that I've responded to everyone else's, LOL, here are a few of my faves: -7 Deadly Zins-A really good spicy/berry mix of 7 zinfandels -St. Supery Moscato-A sweet, fruity dessert/summer wine -Columbia Crest Cellarmaster's Riesling-DH's favorite fruity wine, it's really sweet and good for dessert & with cheese -Yellow Tail Shiraz-A nice spicy/toasty red, a good wine for your buck-it's usually on sale for around $7. -Barefoot Zinfandel-another good bottle for your buck, if you're going cheap for a night Usually around $6-Dancing Bull Zinfandel-tasty zin, goes down easy and goes with almost everything. It's bottled by the same vineyard as Rancho Zabaco-if you can find the RZ it's the same thing, only BETTER! -Monkey Bay Sauvignon Blanc-a nice, light, crisp citrusy white wine, good chilled, and with or without food OMG I could go on and on...can you tell I LOVE wine and drink a lot of it?!?

| YT 2000 Club Member | I am in LOVE with Ice Wine My affair started about 10 years ago when I had found a book called One Tank Trips In Ohio, it had a thing about going to Canada and trying a sweet wine called Ice wine. I just had to get some and try it since I never really had heard of it before. Well, I have yet to taste a bottle that I do not like. I have tried German, Canadian and US Ice Wine and I really love all that I have tried so far. It can be $20 on up past $80 for a bottle though, so it is pricey! I was in Heaven when we took a trip to Niagara Falls 5 years ago, my husband took me to Niagara On The Lake wine tour and I got to taste a lot of great Ice wine from the many Wineries their.

| I can't believe I totally forgot to mention a bottle of wine that I just picked up this evening! I have never heard of it before, but it had a cute label and (honestly) I wouldn't have bought it except it was named Dog House "Maxi's Merlot"...it's made by a winery called Dog House....don't know if they make other varietals or not: I just happened to see it; it was on sale and there were only 2 bottles left. It's got a screw cap (the new hot thing in wine bottling) and it actually was not bad at all. I'm not a big Merlot fan, but it was good. I think it was $7.99 a bottle. Winery says it's in Santa Rosa. Will have to look it up on the internet. There was a tag on it with some info that I haven't had time to read yet; I think they donate a portion of their proceeds to Guide Dogs or something.

My very favorite is Piesporter Michelsberg Kabinett, preferably by Weber. It is very mellow. I can't take very dry or very tart wine. I have tasted some pretty awful wines. | |

| I'm pretty much a snob when it comes to wine. I hate to admit it, but I will because its true. We spent two years living in Italy. My favorite types of wine are Chianti, Shiraz, and Barollo and I will drink Merlot if nothing else is offered. My favorite brand of wine is Dievole from the Tuscany region of Italy. (Their vineyard is amazing. We spent a romantic getaway there). Barollo's are absolutely stunning but NEVER drink one straight out of the bottle (which I rarely do anyway) and be willing to put some money up for it. We keep some of these in our wine fridge for special occasions. I may be a snob about it but it doesn't always have to do with the money. There are some really good wines that are nicely priced as well. I love Yellow Tail Shiraz for example. The best part of wine drinking is the experimenting and sitting around talking as you enjoy a good wine. I loved that about Italy. Everything was centered around food and wine!

I do not know anything about wine, we just keep trying different wines to see what we like and don't like. I like red wine, I'm not crazy about white. A few that we have tried and liked alot are: Enotria Barbera Red Tree Peace ( this is a blend and it's cheap, they served it at a B&B we stayed at and it's actually pretty good. It's from Australia )

| Therapy Dog Donating Member | My husband and I and another couple love, love wine and we started our own little wine club tasting. We have also gone to Napa/Sonoma to visit wine country. We love all wines but some of our favs: 2005 Terra Valentine Amore (Napa) a great Sangiovese wine 2003 Domaine Drouhin (Oregon) a great Pino Noir Anything from the Robert Sinsky vineyards in Napa (we also belong to their wine club) Love the Piesporte Rieslings (Max Ferd Richter) and also one called Freiherr Von Schleinitz (Slatestone Riesling) Germany 2002 - there are also dry Rieslings (not as sweet) Rheingau 2005 Weingut Robert Weil Estate Riesling A great fun Halloween wine: Vampire Wine actually from Transylvania; plus I also love 7 Deadly Zins If you like port: Quinta Das Heredias Porto Tawny from Portugal Icewine: Inniskillin (Canada) or Ohio or upstate NY make fabulous Icewines. Cakebread and Madonna Estate wines are also excellent. If you love Organic: La Cantina - Pizzolato Pinot Grigio - Italy is excellent. Whew - I can go on and on about wine. Both Spain and Portugual make excellent wines - the Rioja wines yummy French: White French Chardonnay 2005 Petit Chamblis

| I am not picky with wines (as far as price) but I love White Chardonnay and White Merlot. Door County winery in Wisconsin also makes some great dessert-type wines!!
