That makes perfect sense. These kids are never gonna learn. The other problem is that the parents are defending their children and believe everything they say. The parents should realize the kids are lying after the denying so many things. Obviously they're not saying the truth. That really makes me mad that people are like that.

you know what makes ME realize I was right??? the fact that her son was kicked out of school at 4 years old. he was asked to leave and not come back!!! and his mom works there!!!!!!!!

PUHLEEEEZZZEEE!!!!!!!! she also said that her boys said that the markers and toys and stuff that were in the fish tank were already there. now that is BULL because my daughter knows better!!! she has never once put anything in there other than fish food, and she is not even allowed to do that anymore because she dumped a bunch in there about 2 years ago. she would NEVER put toys and stuff in there. NEVER. I will take that to my grave!!!

so all in all, she really doesn't think her kids are at fault here. she is amazed that I would even bring it up to her. she said she would never contact someone's parents and tell them that they were upset about the condition their kids left her house. She says that she would never even ask OR allow children to clean up their messes in her house...because she feels it is her responsibility as the host. well, that is what is wrong with her...she doesn't feel that as a guest, you should have to clean up after your children. so therefore, she doesn't feel that she should have to have her..or her children clean up after they have spent 3 hours or more playing in a play room. not even when her children were the only ones in there...REMEMBER...my daughter was not here. it was ONLY her kids playing here.

now...I do not allow my guests to help me with the dishes and general clean up like that after dinner....I would rather them just enjoy being here and I will clean that stuff up after everyone is gone. HOWEVER, I have never had a guest come into my home for dinner and NOT at least offer...and I would never go to someone's house for dinner and not offer to help clean up. and I would offer with the FULL intention of really doing it!!!! and you better believe, that my child is being raised to be the same way!!! she WILL clean up after herself at our house and at other people's house. bottom line.

The problem I see is that she does not feel she should have to go to someone's house and clean up after herself...and she is not raising her kids to feel that they should clean up the toys they play with...the chalk, moon sand, play dough, and everything else that they play with for 3+ hours. It should be up to her to offer to clean up, and up to me to deny the offer if I feel that it is not necessary. and 99.99% of the time, I would not accept it. HOWEVER, I would have accepted the offer for their children to clean up after the tornado mess that they left behind. That would have been my .001%.

I really really hate when people want to pull that nonsense and refuse to take responsiblity for their lack of parenting and discipline. As for her saying she would never call a parent on that then that is on her. Let her go live in her dirty bubble with her children and stay in denial. They won't get any better if she refuses to accept responsiblity and make them do the same. Those children will only get worse.

I can take my children to anyone's house. .they know they have to clean up before they leave. There is no entering places until they ask permission. If someone says my children did something I would know if they were lying or not. A parent knows what their children are capable of.

my dtr is the same way. she knows i will not tolerate this stuff. and if i EVER found out she was climbing on someones walls or acting wild, she would be in SOOOOOOOO much trouble. I would make her write them an apology and we would come up with some major way for her to make it up to them.

That just upsets me even more how she responded! She didn't feel she had to clean up after her children? If her kids acted like this at your house, I'm assuming they've acted like this before, and can be capable of lying, which they did to her. Is she that oblivious? Also, your daughter wasn't even there!!!! To say that your daughter usually left the rooms messy was uncalled for, and if I had kids and they made a mess in someones house like that I would prefer to know so I could correct it for next time they are guests!!!

Your story kind of reminds me of one of my friends, she just doesn't feel the need to follow my rules for where the pee-pads go (NOT on my carpet!) and when her dog peed on my carpet she didn't even clean it up, my fiance had too!

It's one thing to serve your guests and make them feel welcome, but when they expect you to clean up their messes they made themselves that's just taking advantage! What's next, people are going to expect you to wipe their bottoms when their guests too?

Hey I just thought of something you can do, kind of what Daisy Mae suggested, but take your daughter to her house, have your daughter make a mess, then if she says anything say "Oh but you KNEW my daughter was messy, so since you welcomed her over I didn't think it would bother you" Then leave!
