That just upsets me even more how she responded! She didn't feel she had to clean up after her children? If her kids acted like this at your house, I'm assuming they've acted like this before, and can be capable of lying, which they did to her. Is she that oblivious? Also, your daughter wasn't even there!!!! To say that your daughter usually left the rooms messy was uncalled for, and if I had kids and they made a mess in someones house like that I would prefer to know so I could correct it for next time they are guests!!!

Your story kind of reminds me of one of my friends, she just doesn't feel the need to follow my rules for where the pee-pads go (NOT on my carpet!) and when her dog peed on my carpet she didn't even clean it up, my fiance had too!

It's one thing to serve your guests and make them feel welcome, but when they expect you to clean up their messes they made themselves that's just taking advantage! What's next, people are going to expect you to wipe their bottoms when their guests too?
