I agree Megan, no amount of money can make up for not having a childhood. The tour will be fun in a way for him but he has no one close to his age but at least alot less stress. You hear these things and what I heard could be wrong, most the time it is. I heard at the beginning of the show he and that boy that worked in a strip club both had deals. I suppose when they say that, they mean after the tour.....he could have a lot better one by now. That would make his Father happy. Poor kid.

I agree with you 100%. This is nothing but a popularity contest. I'm sure that Carlie will go on to be a star. How Brooke, starting, stopping and starting again, and Jason, giving such a bad performance can still be there and Carlie be gone is beyond comprehension.

Yep, I think so too...and that is what Randy had said on whatever talk show he was on the other day.

We have watched Idol like we use to this go around though....

So, I never know if the people getting voted out were really that horrible the night before or what....But we did watch this past episode and Jason and Brooke (IMO) definitely should have been in the bottom. I thought Shyesha (sp) was great....and couldn't believe her and Carly were in the bottom! Wow!

I have a question regarding Brooke. The other night when she started and stopped - she said I've never done that before - but wasn't it Brooke that one night was playing the piano or guitar and started and stopped only to start again?

And if it wasn't Brooke who was it a few weeks back?

Yes, she has done it before - on a song she played the piano with - but it wasn't during a "live" performance. They didn't show that part during the main show but they did later show a clip of her doing that.

Yes, it was Brooke but I think she was referring to forgetting the lyrics. I could be wrong.

No this was during the show - because the judges commented that it was the right thing to do

You're talking about this week when she was sitting on the steps singing and stopped and asked the band to start over? Simon told her on Wed. that it was the right thing to do but Paula fussed at her on Tues.

She did say she had never done that before but she did do it earlier in the competition during a "non-live" performance.

that someone & I thought it was Brooke had done this during a performance a couple weeks ago.

I know! Those two did not do very well...And Carly did such a great job this past week. It's just not fair
