Wow!! I can't believe the show...That really upset me...Brooke and Jason should have been in the bottom two for sure...

At this point I am not going to get upset over who leaves unless it is one of the two Davids cause I truly believe they should be the two left standing at the end of the show..someone has to leave every week to get to that point but I will tell you that if one of the two Davids leave befor the end there will be alot of screaming in this house..

I also think that Carly was so calm at the end is because someone has already contacted her for a record deal...jmo

Yep, I'm still thinking of "Hallelujah"! Sorry, he may look like he's way out of his element but that just proves to me that it truly does feel awesome to be in that crowd. Just because he doesn't have all the "professional training" that some of them have makes his singing all that more special to me. I'm not saying he's the best out there (and in the end, the best will surely win) but he's got a loyal fan base obviously. Gotta stick with the Aggie..... WHOOP!

And yes, Carly was classy! That was not at all how I expected it to go last night.

I really thought Brook or Jason would go. When I saw the bottom two I told my husband it would Carly. While I don't like tatoos that never stopped me for voting for her because she has a fantastic voice. I did not care for her last performance mainly because that is not my kind of music, too shoutie. At this point it comes down to who has the most fans and not necessarily who is the best vocalist. I really wish they had a system so people could not vote 20 times in one night for the same contestant. When I vote, I vote for all my favorites except the one I think needs to go. Sometimes I will throw in a couple extra votes for my favorite. I am looking for to next week because I really do like Neil Diamond.

I have read that David A.'s father is kind of 'Stage Mom'. I get the feeling that he pushes David too hard and it has a negative effect on David. I think he is trying so hard to please his dad and not upset him, that it takes over his stage presence. He seems so nervous, the poor kid.

this is why i hate the last few episodes of American Idol. It becomes a popularity contest so people like Brooke and Jason stay and people like Carly and Michael Johns (and soon to be seyesha) go home. Neither jason nor Brooke deserve to be in the top three with the two Davids. they aren't very good singers/performers. they are just pretty, cute, quirky, innocent, whatever.

I totally agree. I really wanted Jason or Brooke to go home (and Brooke use to be one of my favorites). I'm so upset that Syesha was in the bottom 2. She was excellent last night. I still can't believe Carly was booted off. She wasn't my favorite by any means but she was much better than Jason and Brooke!!

I agree totally!!!! It's a numbers/popularity game that's for sure and don't forget they have those special webistes where you vote the worst to stay.

I like Jason but he only sounds good singing one type of song (like Over the Rainbow), etc. He's stuck in one element. Brooke reminds me of Carly Simon but I think what hurt her was her stopping her song in the beginning..big boo-boo when you are a professional.

Ugh! I hate to sound like Simon, but it's a SINGING competition and I wish people would vote for the ones who can SING. Carly did NOT deserve to be voted off!

We didn't watch it last night and I am shocked that Carly went home!!! She is a good singer...but this is about who is popular w/ the fans too, since they are the ones who casts the votes and will buy the albums...but STILL!!!

I like Brooke...but her and Jason definitely did not do that well at all the other night

Randy Jackson was on some show the other day and said it would be both David's in the end.....I am pulling for David Cook (if that is the case) because he brings something different.....(IMO)

I was thinking the same thing. Even the way he walks shows some sort of nervousness.

I hope his dad does not ruin him for the future.

When David A. is more mature he will have more to offer.
Right now his voice is great! and that will carry him through to the top 2 for sure.

I am possitively torn between the two Davids. David A just melt me when I listen to him and David C gives me chills! I wonder if AI will ever end up in a tie!

From what I've heard, David has the Stage Father from h*ll. Whenever he doesn't do well enough, he gets yelled at.

This far in the competition, his dad probably expects him to win and will get mad if he gets into the bottom 2/voted off (like that would happen), so it doesn't really surprise me that he is nervous every week.

Megan, I've heard about his father. Lots of young people have parents like that and are seeing $$ signs. I almost wish he would be voted off so he could go home and be a kid. (I guess he has a record deal though) Is he 16 or 17 ??? you would never believe it would you.

Joan, he turned 17 right after they got to Hollywood. I don't believe it at all. He's SO talented its crazy. and he would definitely have a record deal even if he got kicked off. Besides, since he's gauranteed a spot on the tour, its against his contract to sign a record deal with anyone else besides them for the next year.

I don't get parents like that at ALL. Unless the kids makes the decision by his SELF that he wants to do it, there's no reason that a kid should miss out on being a kid for that kind of life.
