Jason really didn't do well at all and I know he deserved to go home...but I voted for him and wanted him to make it through this round because he would have been HERE in College Station tomorrow!

It just would have been so cool to have the American Idol crew here in College Station and to see him perform live. Stinks

Ditto! It would've been cool to see him here tomorrow night.

I really liked him, his personality and his voice. I know he wasn't as good as the Davids, but he really hasn't been singing that long and with a little coaching I think he would be really good.

My mom is already planning to go to at least one of Syesha's two performances in Sarasota this week. One of them will be at her former high school, which I guess is an amazing school for drama. The other will be at Ringling Museum. My mom said the local Fox station is going to broadcast live on TV the event at her high school.

I am sooooooo pleased with the outcome tonight. I thought if Jason stays, I don't know if I could have continued to watch. Thank God 3 strong contenders really remain -- this is how it should be.

And did you all know that David C actually went to the audition just to support his younger brother? His brother didn't make it, but he did. So he said he owes any success to his brother.

Yeah, he said he didn't know what they were going to do next week when he had to learn 3 songs. But he came very far and should be very proud of himself.

Jason, you can be very proud. How many people make it the last 4 on AI. Although I usually agree with Simon I wish you didn't have to leave with simon being so horribly harsh.....I do think his point was to boost Syesha in the ratings which was good . I still want David C. to win but I love these last 3 so much and they all will have a great future ahead of them.

Jason seemed 'relieved' to be voted off. I think he was ready to go home...AI is a lot of work and Jason seems very laidback!!

Yes, I'm not sure Jason is ready for the hectic pace an AI has to keep. I'm sure those words from Adam Levine of Maroon 5 didn't sound great. Work really hard doesn't seem to fit Jason's personality. He needs to work with someone who is more laid back to produce a record. --- But I guess Jason will find out if he likes the busy touring schedule once the AI roadshow starts.

You would think one would know what being in show biz involves. As with anything HARD WORK.

but he did seem really relaxed as he sang his last song.

I wonder if he will do a CD? I wish him the best of luck.

Things are going just as I thought the would. Next Syesha will go and then David A will win. I would put money on it. I noticed last night during the group song that he was moving better than the others were even if it was very subdued. It wouldn't take much for him to develop some dynamic stage presence. I LOVE his voice and will most certainly buy his albums. The only other contestant I have bought is Clay Aiken so I guess I am a sucker for those romantic voices.

I absolutely hated Elvis's version of the song David A did but OMG how I love DA doing it! Does anyone have an Itune of it they would care to share? LOL

I think we all pretty much knew Jason would be going home (whether you love him or not, I think it was time). I know the "buzz" is that the judges are pulling for David A. to win, but I don't know. I know it will be between both Davids though. (or my thoughts anyway).

I agree it was time for Jason to go home. I really hope David Cook wins it!!

I totally agree Jenn - it will be between both David's FOR SURE. I have said this for the longest time now. They just have the best vocals - period.
