This isn't surprising. I loved Syesha, but everyone's known from the beginning that it'd be D/D. But no one really knows who will win....ooooOOOoooOOoooOoOOOO.

I can't wait until next week - really, I think this may be one of the best finals ever. I was at Bible study, so I only saw the end of the show. But i've heard from 2 different people in my world that Fantasia was on and absolutely horrid - the yr she won was definitely Idol's worst year.

:lol tears I TOTALLY agree....Fantasia was just AWFUL!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: My mom and hubby and I were all sitting there with our jaws dropped (just like Simon was :D) in disbelief :eek: Geez, she was running around on stage like a lunatic....couldn't even understand a single word she was saying - and her hair looked....ummm, BAD :eek: I don't know WHAT the heck that song was she was "singing" - but WOW! :thumbdown Terrible. lol.

And just as I knew...both David's are in the finals - I am so happy! :D

You know the worst thing about the end of Idol (or the vote off's) - is waiting for the albums to come out for your faves. But I do like that iTunes offers all the songs this year - and polished studio versions to boot!

I just downloaded the latest by Cook (but they only had "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" in audio - the other two were videos).

And for those non-Jason fans - you should at least preview the studio versions of his songs. Without the nerve-wracking audience (remember he's totally inexperienced), you may find you like him more than you thought you did. ;)

Ugghh, she was gross, but I have never liked her! I don't like her, I don't like her voice. She sucked!

Ok I missed her last night.....let me just say that was not what I call "singing."

Now "performing" In some circles, folks would like it , for the energy if nothing else. I could barely tell what the song was baout , but I think I gathered that dude up in the balcony was "cheating." Hey there's a theme a lot of women can relate to.

i dunno. i don't think david c wants to win the whole thing. i think he'd do better being the runner up. then he can start his own career and won't have to carry the American Idol title around. I love him and i'd rather he not win for his benefit. he'd do so much better like daughtry.

I'm wondering if Fantasia's performance was from "The Colour Purple" she's been on Broadway doing that for awhile now. Could be why it was so dramatic, never liked her either.

No that mess is NOT in the COlor Purple....although I might add I found the version of it that OPrah put on broadway to be not all that great either.

I dunno who will win but I really think David C has more experience and control and the maturity to handle all the buzz of winning. But well see next week. And Simons face was classic...I love Simon

I think the reason she chose this was because the judges have been telling her all along that broadway/show tunes is her niche. They do often send mixed messages to these contestants. They did that to Carly too. Told her she was hot hot hot doing one thing, then poo poo'd her for it the next time.

I think this is the first year when I didn't watch one single episode of AI. :( I really only watch it religiously when there is someone from B'ham in the competition...so the way I figure it, we should be due for another one next season.:D

I'm pretty sure Syesha has a great career ahead of her - probably on Broadway, for which I personally think she is perfectly suited. She's such a sweet, classy girl. :)
