I thought it was a Canon, it was an Epson. The cartridges are for Epson Stylus C64, C84, C86, CX1600, CX6400,CX6600.

| Ok -- You have separate color cartridges, right? The older type HP-s have the print heads on the printer cartridges. When you had the paper jam, it probably damaged the print head on the yellow cartridge. You will probably need to purchase a new yellow. |

| I agree,HP seems to always have some sort of problems. My nest printer sure won't be a HP! Mine is constantly getting jammed when printing it will pull the whole stack of paper in. |

| No Longer a Member | You may have defective cartridges. You can try removing them and taking a q-tip dipped in alcohol and use it to clean the area where the ink is dispensed. My printer uses these same cartridges, that may help, but if not, I'd send an email to the company and let them know you have defective cartridges. You can try and take them back to the store if you still have the packaging and receipts and let them know and see if they'll exchange them. |

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I did ALOT of deep cleanings - which really wastes ink sooo -- I decided to go for a new printer - I think said in my other posts - I went thru about 6 printers in the last 8 or so years but I do ALOT of printing - If cleaning the heads gently with rubbing alcohol isn't working - then it's the probably clogged printer heads and that can run some $$ - They can send you a new printerhead 'set' or if you can try to buy individual. With the last HP I had - it was a whole printer head and would have run about 200 - so I bought a new printer and love it. and yes it seems to be an HP issue - My canon that I've had over a year and 1/2 hasn't once given me problems (knock on wood) |
