| Good for you! I gave up my one a day Diet Coke habit - for 1 1/2 yrs, then I went back to drinking them gradually. How I wish I hadn't!! So stick with it! I'm going to try again, someday real soon... Diet soda is not the answer -- it's full of Aspartame and all it's dangers. The worst part now my 18 yr old daughter is addicted to it, although she is suppose to be working on giving it up. Ice tea was a good substitute for me because I don't like it sweetened - maybe with some lemon

| I feel your pain. I am a REAL coke addict...major addiction. Always have to drink coke first thing in the morning. It has now been 13 days!!! and I am dying. Diet coke doesn't work for me. I'm drinking tea but it just doesn't have the right zing I need. It has been the hardest thing I've done in awhile.

| Wish you the best of luck. I would drink Coke like that. Since I found out I was pregnant in NOvember I have given it up. Every now and then Iwill have caffeine free soda, but mostly water, milk and orange juice. Water is growing on me. I had the worst headaches for about a week after giving up the Coke.

| I switched from regular Pepsi to diet wild cherry Pepsi- about 3 years ago- Diabetic- I have lost probably 60- 70 lbs! I never thought I could do diet- I love my Pepsi- but I had no problem switching to the wild cherry Pepsi1 I bought 1 can of about 8 different Diet pops- when i tried the wild cherry- I said I can do this- and now I can drink almost any diet! Diet Dr Pepper is good- even the cherry/ van.-that sounds bad, but it's good. And wal- mart has there brand of a 7-up/bubble up- it is good! I have been drinking more water the last few weeks I know i need to! |

| I'm just the opposite....absolutely, 24/7, addicted to iced tea with Splenda(no lemon, yuk). Even have to have a glass at bedside when I go to bed. Soda only when I'm in the car or at work. Don't really like soda but diet Dr Pepper isn't bad...not so sweet as some of them.

| I DrinK Coke Zero it has less of an after taste. I also like Lipton Diet green tea. Green tea is great for you and is said to help prevent cancer. I drink alot of those crystal packs in water. I like the peach tea and the cherry pomegrante. I have been watching You are what you eat on BBC america. The Dietician on there says that even diet sodas are bad for you and dehydrate you. That is why you wind up drinking so many because your body is still thirsty. Also the gas in them is bad for you digestion. I am trying to come off of my Coke Zero all together. I still gulp down 3 a day. I hope soon I can just quit. Besides they cost too much. My husband gives me heck about it. He is always telling me to stop putting that crap in my body. I know he is right but I like them alot.

| Diet coke used to be my primary source of fluid until I developed joint pain. I couldnt bend my fingers or lift my left foot. Someone told me to lay off the diet coke for 28 days... Guess what?? all my pain went away. NOW when I eat anything with aspartame I get pain! That has been 10 yrs ago. There was a time I would drink regular soda, but now it is tea or water. Soda is just poison. diet or regular. One sip and I am sick. I might as well just shoot up straight sugar in my veins. Good luck! stay on track. Even if you slip...jump right back on the water train! YOU WONT REGRET IT! |

| Stevia is a natural, no-calorie sweetner. It's a great choice for making drinks, hot and cold. I like to make Zinger herb teas, sweeten with stevia and keep it cold in the fridge. I also make lemonade with it------very refreshing! My mom had cancer----first found when she became symptomatic. One kidney was removed, engulfed in cancer. She made us promise to not use artificial sweetners. She was convinced her cancer came from decades of saccarine, sweet and low and then equal use. She died after the cancer moved to her, lung, then bones and brain. Very long and painful death o ver five years. |
